The thing no one wants to talk about in this is that marriage was already breaking down well before no-fault divorce. No-fault divorce, particularly the first bill in California, was a result of courts being bogged down with obviously fake “cruelty” claims. Couples would agree to have the woman claim cruelty, the man wouldn’t dispute it, and the judge would have no choice but to grant the divorce and enter a finding of cruelty. It was an open farce. A mockery of the judicial system and family courts. No fault divorce was passed to end this. I don’t see a real way to fix this without fixing morals and marriages themselves. You’re not just going to roll back the clock here.

I may not agree with Green voters, but deliberately placing deportation centres in areas that vote against you as political punishment is vindictive and counterproductive. You don’t win people over by threatening them. It’ll also put people in serious danger.

I am becoming of the opinion that Marco Rubio would be harder for the Democrats to beat in 2028 than Jd Vance. I like both men and I will vote for whoever wins the primary. But, Rubio's combination of experience and respectability makes him a very hard target for the Democrats. There's almost no opposition research that would work against Rubio. Most attacks would bounce right off him.
