@RickIguessLol i think the sheer fact that you gave him something he can use with one hand in his pocket + yarn that's kinda like steel wire feels incredibly in character for him theres also potential for many ideas with how their techniques could transform once the other dies...

@zedowob See if I had been smart when I set this fic up I would have made Rowan's eyes blue (clear skies) to match Pawbert's yellow (fields of wheat) to really lean into Rowan's missing home and Pawbert finding one in him. Oh well, live and learn.
