@rshereme I was agreeing with all your posts until this one. A big majority of Russians are actually good (no quotes needed) and against everything their dictator is doing in and outside their country. You don’t decide where you’re born and raised.

3/ Meanwhile, Germany is harboring “good russians”, who continue to kill Ukrainians even in Germany. Just in the past several months: in Bavaria, two Ukrainians were killed by a russian man; in Mannheim, a 27-year-old Ukrainian woman was killed by a russian woman.

When people in the west are confronted with facts about russia, they cannot believe it. Some blame the deep state, CIA, or just say that it is AI generated fakes. 1/n

@wartranslated there has been demos by (mainly) mothers & wives of young men forced to go to the frontlines. I personally know people who fear they’ll be drafted any day. Ukraine is justified in defending itself. There is no need to generalize and exaggerate facts.

Actually, these Russian soldiers voluntarily come to Ukraine for a $1700 per month salary and other great benefits, which by Western standards equals $10-20k per month. Many are also convicts, criminals, murderers freed from prisons to serve and earn clemency with blood (they’re not expected to live for very long). It’s not secret knowledge really, so the arrogant comment by this individual demonstrates either malice or a complete ignorance of the situation.

Honestly, for me, a Russian-speaking resident of Ukrainian Mariupol since birth, it’s simply crazy to hear when adult people try to justify the occupation of Ukrainian territories by the fact that Russian-speaking people live there. Are you seriously??! So it turns out that tomorrow England, having enough military power, can calmly occupy the USA, just because former British people live there and everyone speaks English? Or Canada? How does someone's use of any language give someone else the right to come and seize someone else's house, someone else's land and claim that it is now their property? This world has gone crazy...

Picked up my 15 yr old today and she began telling me how this girl was going around school saying goodbye to everyone because god was coming for her today and that it was the end for all of them. She was upset, crying. Parents, stop doing this to your children.

Here's my question for tonight: If Russia is winning so unstoppably and brilliantly now (still fighting for ruined small towns in Ukraine's east in the third year of its 10-day blitzkrieg) and entire Ukraine is so hopelessly doomed, why are literally all Russian shills ripping their asses apart yelling 'IT'S OVER SUE FOR PEACE NOW'? If so, why does Russia need 'negotiations'? Why would it want to stop and strip itself of a full victory? By what sort of merit and mercy? And moreover, if so, why is Russia waging mass propaganda and intimidation campaigns dissuading the West from providing Ukraine with aid, if 'there's nothing can be done'? Maybe it's because it's all pure horseshit? And maybe because Russia clearly understands that it will lose this war if Ukraine carries on fighting and the West finally wakes up and mobilizes its gargantuan resources to let Ukraine mark a decisive end to Putin's killing spree in Europe?
