People don’t understand jaw surgery completely morphs your face. The swelling lasts for months before it starts to go down. It wasn’t till about month 9 that I felt like I looked like myself again after having double jaw surgery. My surgeon even warned me that people who get jaw surgery are at risk of developing body dysmorphia and depression because you spend so long thinking your face is destroyed. I was miserable for almost a year and my case wasn’t even that severe. I can’t imagine what he had to go through since he had intense facial reconstruction. I get so annoyed when people say he got botched filler or implants. The man literally had to get his face put back together! Of course the healing process took forever. That surgery also saved his life btw. Leave the man alone.
