Yeah I blocked Illen and Tsubasa too. I did it because I have heard the same complaints from them a hundred times. We’ve all heard them complain in DMs, we’ve all heard them complain on spaces, they all show up to bring up the exact same points over and over and over again like broken records. And their complaints resonate with some which is fine, but you guys can complain to each other. I am not obligated to read the same thing so many times and I certainly am tired of these same people never being happy about anything. You don’t like how Azuki is doing stuff, sell brother! No one is forcing you to be here. But constantly being subjected to whining and bitching is exhausting. Take your complaints to the team. I also absolutely do not care about any of the so called OGs that left. When new people joined the community it brought new energy and so many of my friends were now part of the garden AND IT MADE it better. I was extremely happy to join Azuki when I bought my OG, it had been such a dream of mine and finally I could do so. And then being in a chat with some of these people was the most horrible experience ever. I am here to have fun and enjoy the things that I like. Azuki is doing great things and as I said they should be recognized for it. If you don’t feel aligned with them anymore bullying them into compliance obviously is not working. Anyone is free to get offended mute me, block me whatever tickles your pickle. I actually encourage you to do so if you’re a chronic Negative Nancy. I don’t have time for that.

So we just had Z walk the runway at Paris Fashion week wearing clothes inspired by the Azuki IP, bringing the brand in front of millions of eyes and celebrities that will wear these clothes with Azuki tags on them. And people are still out there being negative and trying to downplay the cultural relevance this moment has. GIVE CREDIT WHERE IT'S DUE! That's all I ask. Me and a lot of other people in the garden show up for others all the time. We praise Pudgy, we praise Clayno's, Chimpers and everyone else that is doing cool stuff and putting crypto native IP in front of normie eyes. BUT when Azuki does it with high end luxury collabs it's always downplayed and hated on. If you think, McDonalds and Walmart collabs are cool WHY AREN'T Ambush, H. Moser & Cie, Satoshi and 424 not cool??? FFS Azuki owns ANIME. COM and somehow that is also not worth talking about... So somehow Chimpers plushie key chains is alignment but fucking high quality TCG cards are not? TCG tournaments that bring in normal people are not? We've owned digital anime characters that are part of a huge world and IP FOR YEARS, there's trailers and episodes out there and y'all still wanna claim you're the first to do that. NO YOU'RE NOT. You're way behind and that's ok, build what you wanna build but if you want support from the best Anime brand and IP in crypto start fkn giving respect. Disclaimer here: I AM A FAN OF EVERYTHING ALL THE PROJECTS I MENTIONED ARE DOING. I LOVE THEM ALL. Maybe read this article. Typical startup: you dont get funded by thousands of strangers day 1. No one believes in you, not even your friends and family. You start at zero or even negative, take a 20k loan from your parents, try to make it work, grow from 0 to 100 with maximum uncertainty. And if u ever make it out, the only people u have to “payback” is your parents who loaned yoi 20k and believed in you when no one did. Web3: when you are azuki and raise 25M in cash on day 1, you are no longer a startup imo. You are running a trust fund on borrowed money. Each minter is like the parents who loaned you 20k, you constantly feel owe in debt to payback holders and align holder incentives because you indeed owe it. They gave you money when you are at day 0, sure they might be gambling but they are the ones who believe when in a typical startup no one else would. Raising 25m with just a set of jpeg and nothing else but concept and idea is not normal anywhere out of web3, it requires the exact right market conditions for strangers to throw money at you and not often replicable. Imo TGE, beanz, and early 2022 pumps have paid that off for initial holders though. That said, for hardcore holders who only hold, they lost. In the end its a tough balance. But web3 startups have it wayyyyy better than normal entrepreneurs who not only bet their entire life, savings, on maximum uncertainty and they have much more at stake to make things work. Perhaps thats why its so early and chill out here in web3 where founders are still pretty “slack” compared to silicon valley startups. Its different when you start +25M day 1 vs starting with -20k + struggling to make ends meet while starting a business and slog it off whether or not you see light to end of tunnel for years before seeing any viable results. @MightyJaxx one of the more successful toy maker startups in singapore. Collab with sanrio, one piece, li-ning etc. inspiring story. I recommended azuki to mighty jaxx founder before.
