This is a very big misconception btw. Islam allows 50/50 and is a very flexible religion that takes into account culture and the state of the people. It’s not the default is what most mean but you’re allowed to come to a compromise.

We’ve reached a point where we are actually shy to call something clearly Haram by its name. They’ve turned a door to Fitnah into a "standard procedure," and it’s nothing but a trap. Then you have the men commenting on this saying the guy just lacked "game." What absolute nonsense. Both sides are at fault here. A serious man goes to the Wali immediately.
