$AMZN is a $250 stock and $META is easily $800+ if capex was even moderately lower. Now they’re forced to prove it: • $AMZN → ~30% cloud growth • $META → 30%+ revenue growth Otherwise? Market keeps punishing until capex comes down. Agree or not?

@TechLayoffLover I worked as a manager for 2 FAANGs for over a decade and can tell you this is normal. Part of the job is to actively identify and manage out people that do not meet the bar.

A source inside a major cloud platform just sent me the most dystopian spreadsheet I've ever seen Engineering manager got handed stack rankings for her 23-person team on Monday morning 30% forced into "below expectations" bucket. That's exactly 7 people who have to get the rating. She knows these 7 names become the layoff list in January. HR made her sign something saying the ratings are "completely independent of workforce planning decisions" But the Outlook calendar invites are already sent. "Workforce optimization discussions" scheduled for January 15th through 22nd Her skip-level just told her the remaining 16 engineers will be "right-sized for our AI-augmented development model" The 7 getting managed out? All her solid performers. The ones who ship features but don't have the political capital to survive stack rank Meanwhile the 3 people getting "exceeds expectations" are the ones who built the internal AI coding assistant that's about to replace half the org She's watching her people celebrate their holiday bonuses while she's already seen the termination timeline The real kicker: she has to deliver these ratings with a straight face during their 1:1s next week "This is about performance, not headcount reduction" But the badge deactivation requests are already in the system January 23rd. All 7 gone the same day. The stack rank was never about performance. It was about manufacturing legal cover for the cuts they already decided

$AMD building a month-long base at $200-$205 after the post-earnings flush from $265. Accumulation volume picking up, RSI and MACD coiling at neutral. Forward P/E of 30. $220 breaks - $240 gap fill is in play. $190 breaks - watch gaps below. Breakout confirmation is thrust up on 2x volume.

$EXPE pinched between VWAP and the 150 SMA. It launched off the $200 shelf and is now sitting on the ~$240 volume shelf. The next one is at $270, about 13% higher. For the bullish scenario to play out, we need a close above the 150 SMA first. The bearish scenario activates if we fail to do that - $200 becomes the magnet.

$UAL on the move. Momentum about to turn around, low but increasing RSI, nice pop on a red day, launching off the volume shelf with vacuum above. I expect it to attempt to re-test north of $100. I count 4 gaps to be filled.

$PANW trade update - this stock has trouble breaking out of the consolidation zone. These wicks worry me. I will give it another day or two and close it if there is not movement to the upside - and wait for another entry.

$NFLX lost the support. Next stop $84.59 to close the gap.

$RIVN nicely contained by the 12/19 aVWAP on a strong bounce. Good volume (2.5x?) and improving momentum. I expect the pop to fade and the price to consolidate further around the VPOC. Adding to my watchlist for a potential breakout down the road. 👀👀👀
