We built a browser with GPT-5.2 in Cursor. It ran uninterrupted for one week. It's 3M+ lines of code across thousands of files. The rendering engine is from-scratch in Rust with HTML parsing, CSS cascade, layout, text shaping, paint, and a custom JS VM. It *kind of* works! It still has issues and is of course very far from Webkit/Chromium parity, but we were astonished that simple websites render quickly and largely correctly.

@AnthropicAI @claudeai code uses 600mb-2gb of ram and that's disgusting. what's he doing with all that ram? burning tokens probably. fix it please.

@LefterisJP you checked infrastructure not the actual blockchain. that's blockchain infrastructure which is centralized. the actual blockchain is still up. check it. it doesn't depend on aws.

AWS is down and then the internet stops working. But the blockchain, it never goe ... wait a minute. Scratch that. This sector is a joke. Everyone preaching decentralization and censorship resistance but in reality ... it's all 100% reliant on the cloud.

@AnthropicAI claude code is neat but he literally can never figure out what directory he's in. honestly one of his biggest problems. i've wasted literally hours to him running commands in the wrong directory over and over before deciding to pwd.

@AnthropicAI did you know Claude Code has a $PWD issue when using his file editing tools and bash (so probably in general he has a $PWD problem)

update: it seems to have fixed itself after i disabled some extensions. might not be @codeiumdev's fault

@codeiumdev @windsurf_ai is literally so slow to navigate around typescript files. the vscode ui lags out and i suffer key-repeat madness when trying to navigate files faster than 1 line per second. fix it please

i end up just making the files myself but it really breaks cascade sometimes that it can't make files and directories for itself.

i'll update with a screenshot next time it happens

@codeiumdev windsurf refuses to make new files when i use cascade chat. it always errors and skips that part then outputs the text for me to create the file myself. i don't think it will make directories either. just bug reporting.
