gue pribadi selalu pegang prinsip, kalau ada kasus pelecehan seksual, especially yang korbannya udah speak up dengan segala trauma dan konsekuensi yang dia tanggung sendiri, dan lo merasa gak bisa support korban atau gak bisa ada di posisi netral—then at least diem aja. jangan kasih validasi ke pihak pelaku lewat like, support, interaksi, atau pembelaan samar yang ujung-ujungnya malah makin nyakitin korban. karena buat korban, hal-hal kecil kayak orang rame-rame masih dukung pelaku itu bukan “hal sepele”. itu bisa bikin mereka ngerasa suara mereka gak dianggap, trauma mereka dipermainkan, bahkan bikin mereka nyesel udah berani ngomong. apalagi ini kasusnya berat banget (menurut gue) pelecehan seksual yang dilakuin abang sendiri sejak korban masih kecil, keluarga allegedly tahu tapi diem, terus abangnya cuman bilang “itu cuma jokes”? that’s actually insane. dan menurut gue banyak orang gagal paham kalau dalam kasus kayak gini, silence dari orang sekitar aja udah bisa nyakitin, apalagi openly support pelaku. nobody is forcing you to become internet activist, tapi kalau emang gak bisa stand with the victim, ya mending jangan ikut nambah luka dengan nunjukin dukungan ke pihak yang dituduh nyakitin dia. korban tuh biasanya udah takut duluan sebelum speak up. mereka tahu bakal diragukan semua pernyataan dia, diserang, dianggap cari sensasi, bahkan kalah power sama pelaku (keliatan ini mah soalnya bininya artis). jadi waktu masih banyak orang milih kayak oh dia gak gitu kok atau tetep kasih public support, itu tuh kerasa kayak semua rasa sakit korban dianggap gak penting. terus bagian yang bikin makin bikin eneg ya itu tuh instead of facing it directly dengan gantle dan penuh tanggung jawab, malah klarifikasi lewat akun bininya🤢.
