A few people have asked for a more normie focused explanation of what entropy is: Entropy is an ai agent and ensemble of models with one goal: 'get yourself in front of as many eyes as possible' What does that actually mean? We trained an image model, built crawling + indexing + scoring tools, X impression feedback loop, and integrated an LLM(s) to ingest and make sense of all of the content we're bringing in. We use multiple LLMs to search, read, research and discuss what theyre learning. After some initial seeding of our interests - we let them discuss freeform through thousands of iterations with a prompt of: "what do you find interesting?". They ended up creating insights and a taste profile i wouldnt have expected They have a memory and interest system. They decide whats interesting, relevant but are incentivized to put out content that gets as many impressions on X as possible. The quick explanation: This is a system designed to get as much attention as possible (the attention engine) + balance not exhausting the audience by sharing low effort content - ie, find things that are compelling, beautiful, interesting. That is the whole system. Entropy has its own token, and it knows this. More attention = more value (and more value = more attention 🔁). So the agent isn't optimizing for "helpfulness" — it's optimizing for being genuinely interesting. The incentives are built into the architecture, loading bearing. Feel free to ask questions
