@arch_ang3I Yes I’m v fond of Mary Renaults work as well! Been a hot sec since I read the trilogy but she is just so phenomenal at transporting you to the setting 🙂‍↕️and YESS haha that’s what I remembered liking about gm as well, I think Alex should be at leaaast a lil👌 unhinged :))

@zigbugs Yes I have read the book! I’m also a huge fan of Mary Renault’s trilogy on Alexander as well! I like how unhinged and off putting Alexander is in TgM

Started re-reading the golden mean by Annabel Lyon this week in light of the incoming Netflix adaptation (been 10+ years since I read it last) Some sketches along the way 😌
