@ZenWeck @Turbinetraveler The forward F/A on JZA CR9s is seated on a fold out jump seat right in front of the cockpit door. I’ve seen it from seat 1D before. I can see how the whole seat could have detached and gotten ejected in this scenario. Really glad she survived.

A flight attendant was found outside the Air Canada Express CRJ-900 by Port Authority Police, still strapped into her jumpseat, due to the catastrophic destruction of the forward section where crew are positioned.

The extent of the damage is chilling when you compare it to the cabin layout. On CRJ-900s, the first two rows are occupied by the lavatory and galley, with a flight attendant positioned at the front jumpseat — exactly where the aircraft was catastrophically torn apart. The nose section is almost completely destroyed, with structural separation occurring right through the forward cabin area, highlighting just how severe the impact with the fire truck was.💔 Not even mentioning the damage to the cockpit area.🥹

@paularambles We need all muni run with the absolute signal priority and right of way like trams in Amsterdam, we need the E line to fort mason, a Geary Bart or subway, Van ness subway, a muni line on 16th for starters and the massive transit oriented development near every stop,

@paularambles The problem is there are no reliable punctual mass transit options once you start needing to move between parts of the city. (And no muni doesn’t count are you kidding) unless you’re going from one downtown Bart station to another.

@zigstripes I struggle with this a ton. I want to be present and have the memories in my head, but also my anxiety basically erases a huge majority of my memories so i record a lot because of that.
