Naturally there are better coaches, globally, but I would say that there aren’t more deserving coaches anywhere than Dos Santos for this job and in this moment at LAFC. He’s been there forever, knows all the ins and outs, and surely has the locker room fully behind him. Great move to get this done.

@MLSMoves Funny how they call this a small club hire. DosSantos won with every other club he coached in the lower divisions. What he did with the SF Deltas in 2017 was nothing short of extraordinary. Waiting for the day he proves all the doubters wrong.

You hire Marc Dos Santos who was an absolute failure with the Whitecaps as your manager on one of the biggest clubs in the United States? John Thorrington is terrible at hiring managers.
