These are tough results for Labour. There’s no sugarcoating it. We’ve lost brilliant Labour representatives who’ve stood up for their communities.
People are still frustrated. Their lives aren’t changing fast enough. We haven’t offered enough hope or optimism for the future.
I was elected to change this country - tough days like this don’t weaken my determination to do that. They strengthen it.

After losing 6,000 followers for buying a Cybertruck, I realized I needed a vehicle that better aligns with my followers’ environmental expectations and moral values.
So I traded it in for a beauty that gets 7 MPG and personally accelerates glacier melt every time I tap the gas pedal.

I will NOT be attending the rally on May 16th in London that @TRobinsonNewEra is organizing and I likely won’t be attending CPAC UK either because the United Kingdom has decided, randomly, that I am unable to travel there any longer because my prescence is “not conducive to the public good”.
I have had this ETA travel permission since last May and have been to the United Kingdom about four or five times since then. I didn’t reapply or anything.
Today, I just woke up to this notice in my email. They have banned an American citizen from their country for no apparent reason whatsoever. I assume for matters of freedom of speech, but they haven’t clarified.
I will most certainly be appealing that decision and applying for a visa through the formal process to see exactly why they’ve deemed me ineligible to come over.
Free speech is DEAD in the United Kingdom. Absolutely dead. The Labour government has taken whatever was left of it and destroyed it.

My dad, 69 yrs old, an excessive smoker all his life has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. It's evasive and most of his one whole lung is covered in it. He is refusing mainstream treatment, chemo, immunotherapy etc. Ivermectin? An option?? Pls help

My abortion is the kind people love to judge the most. I wasn’t underage, I wasn’t assaulted, and there was no medical emergency. I got pregnant because I knowingly had unprotected sex, no accident, no rare failure, just my own choices.
By their standards, it was “irresponsible.” I knew abortion was an option, and I took it. Not because I couldn’t survive it or raise a child, I simply didn’t want one. I wanted sex without becoming a parent, and I chose not to carry the pregnancy.
There’s no redemption arc here. I don’t regret it. Nothing terrible happened to me afterward, no punishment, no downfall. My life is still good. And that reality alone challenges everything people like to assume about women who make this choice.

This video I just watched is beyond disturbing and disgusting. How could anyone do this to babies.... Dozens of toddlers, many barely 2 years old were found lying lifeless on the floor like discarded dolls at Little Aresha daycare in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Their hands and feet were tied up. Some were completely naked or left in just diapers. No beds, no comfort, just cold foam mats. The children were so drugged or broken that many could barely move or cry. Parents dropped their babies off thinking they’d be cared for while they worked. Instead, they were systematically neglected, restrained, and abused day after day. Out of 103 children at the center, police have confirmed at least 53 victims. A leaked video prompted a raid, leading to the shutdown of the facility. So far, 13 suspects have been named, including the head of the foundation, the principal, and multiple caregivers. This wasn’t one bad apple. It was routine: - Staff tying up little kids so they wouldn’t “bother” them - Stripping them - Leaving them to lie on the floor for hours The children are now receiving medical and psychological help, but the damage is irreversible. I have kids and this made my blood boil. No parent should ever have to see their baby like this. Justice for these babies. Maximum charges. No excuses. As every single person involved needs to rot in prison.
