The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is one of our most efficient agencies. Costs less than $1B a year & has fought to return over $20B directly to Americans.
But I guess it makes sense that a billionaire wants to eliminate one of the agencies that fights for working people.

@ChuffedAF69@ishaantharoor It is actually easy. Finish the wall. Increase the number of border patrol agents. Lastly, use technology from companies like Anduril, which is low cost and operated by AI. Or, we could simply have 1000 border patrol agents per shift and they would be 1 mile apart. Easy.

@AquaKiwi6@ishaantharoor The U.S. grows avocados in CA and FL. If CA reduced regulations, it wouldn't take too long to offset a lot of the imports from Mexico. We would also then import more from countries like Chile.
