Just had a look at the Grokipedia entry about me. It’s very, very thorough, but unfortunately also very wrong in many areas. E.g.

Helen Caldicott at a rally in 2012 calls nuclear energy sexual, says men who support it have something wrong with their brains, & women don’t because they aren’t neurotic. You may laugh, but this woman was a key voice in the anti-nuclear movement in the 1970s & won many awards.

He created a more panic about “overpopulation” that led to millions of sterilisations, at least 11 million in India & over 100 million sterilisations in China + forced IUD insertions. 3 years ago he publicly stated that he had “made no basic mistakes”

“Premature,” lol. The abject refusal to just admit this guy was completely wrong is one of the funnier Boomer-coded traits.

His predictions weren't "premature." They were just wrong. They didn't happen, and they never will.

You really don’t have to bury nuclear waste in bedrock. Just stick it in a concrete cask. Once the fuel rods are spent, they’re put in a big pool of water for around five years, a remarkably good insulator of radiation and a great way to cool them down. These pools are so safe you could in theory swim about in them in at the top. After a few years in a pool the rods are moved to dry cask storage, where they sit happily basically forever. These casks are so protective that they are safe enough for humans to hug. And the casks don’t have to be heavy duty forever. Intense gamma radiation depletes relatively quickly. The actual long-term hazard increasingly comes from radionuclides that are only really dangerous if literally eaten.

Paul Ehrlich in 1970: "The FCC should see to it that large families are always treated in negative light on television." If that doesn't work, then the government should "legislate the size of the family" and "throw you in jail if you have too many" kids.
