@BishopDeeley AND Bishop Deeley, I remember you when you looked like those little people around you! Such a precious memory….and even the tears as we marched out at the end of the day weeping because I had just learned that I was being transferred….it was October. I Remember well 🙏🏻♥️

On Wednesday when I visited students at St. Michael School in Augusta, I told them "We all have a purpose, and God gives us our purpose." I met some of these eighth-grade students when they were in pre-K.

I joined Joao DosSantos, director of Dorchester’s Catholic CharitiesTeenCenter 2 evaluate 77 nonprofit groups which applied for a CummingsFoundation $100,000 grant. We chose 44 to do a more detailed application to be evaluated by other volunteers. Final number of awards will =100

Today, I was honored to be sworn in as a Commissioner to the Woburn Housing Authority by Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll. Governor Healey was there to greet me and my two State Representatives Richard Haggerty and Michelle Ciccolo were able to attend the ceremony.

They see their commitment to living in accord with faith as a value in their lives. And, as something precious to them, they want to pass it on to the young people that they cherish and love! 2/2

Today, we hold the Memorial Mass for Bishop Joseph, the beloved 10th Bishop of Portland. He was a monk, priest, abbot, and bishop. No matter the mission, he was a pastoral presence of the Good Shepherd. Join me at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral to honor his amazing life and faith.

When Bocelli’s mother was pregnant with him, doctors advised her to abort the baby warning that the baby would be born with a congenital disease that would cause him to lose his sight. But the mother refused to abort her baby. Andrea Bocelli lost his vision completely at the age 12 after getting hit in the head during a soccer game. But despite this, he went on to become an iconic singer.
