HEXvolver released on Android! Check it out at play.google.com/store/apps/det… More development in the near (far?) future, but the game is pretty much now as I originally envisioned it. Upcoming will be the currently locked modes, as well as some pacing modifications among other things.

But why stop there, a Quadjection, with four domain sets, heck, if using T1 with multiple Bijections, you could go to Tn and get an n-Jection. And if you tiered it so that all lesser tiers have less bindings the lower you go but all are guaranteed unique, Tierjection!

Since a Bijection is a one-to-one relation with unique set of both domain values, I propose Trijection, where all three domains have unique values and all are guaranteed to have a one-to-one-to-one relationship.

@saltyAom I mean, I'd be down for it. Have asked similar things from total strangers as well, I think it's fine? Tho I'm not really in central Europe, Finland here so... and your mileage may vary, maybe there are other factors at play

When I do my work in coffee shop alone, I often ask random dude nearby to watch my laptop, and stuff before going to restroom Didn’t know you can’t do that in Europe, and US or am I in a bubble?

@dg_512 @The1stImmortal @vaxryy Yeah, that's a given. The point is that SYN was a chosen phrase in the protocol spec, chosen by those who made it. Could've been "BOB" for all I care, but it isn't a physical law of nature or something - someone chose to call it SYN.

@zment4 @The1stImmortal @vaxryy On the wire it’s just 1 in the header that’s “1” instead of “0,” changing the documentation about it to spell out “synchronize flag” or even calling it something different entirely would not have any effect on the actual wire traffic. Changing “HELO” in the SMTP spec would

In wire protocols, the initial "hello" message is just a phrase the creator chose. For example, email uses HELO (yes, HELO), TCP uses SYN. Give me your most creative "I want to establish a connection" messages for a wire protocol to use.

@dg_512 @The1stImmortal @vaxryy That wasn't the point tho, whether it's in the payload or protocol or not. Fine, it's a flag? Point is that saying it's "SYN" is a choice of phrase.

@zment4 @The1stImmortal @vaxryy You’re perhaps misunderstanding. The string “SYN” never appears on the wire, only in human conversations about what’s happening and documentation
