- However, realistically, a 14-year-old child should not be able to create such high-tech web shooters.
- Because of this logic, Tobey’s Spider-Man was given natural (organic) webs.
- The director of the Spider-Man movie stated that a 14-year-old wouldn’t have enough knowledge to create such advanced web shooters without technology.
- Therefore, Tobey’s Spider-Man was designed with natural webs to make him feel more realistic.
- This is also why Tobey’s Spider-Man is considered the most different version.

What annoys me even more is there’s been MUCH worse projects that have come out of phases 4 and 5 (Secret Invasion), yet he chose the all-female led movie that suffered the worst hate and review bombing from THAT crowd, and that’s exactly who he’s pandering to. Mauler is a pig.
