This might be a Hot Take, but I think like 90% of the problem with Paradox is just how Treyarch marketed. If instead of marketing is as a mainline experience, if they marketed it as an "enhanced" survival map with a main quest to hold over the wait while they cook up DLC 2...

So yeah, warming up to the map but its definitely gonna be the weakest for the season. Here's hoping the next map will be way better, because fuck this is already a hard guilty pleasure of a game

The Blundergat upgrade is also pretty neat but is a little annoying to get. But man, you can get screwed over so easily in this map but thats probably a skill issue on my part lol. I did like the boss fight and how it uses the steps throughout the egg which I think was cool.

Okay, my initial feelings about Paradox Junction has subsided. I still feel like this map did not need to happen, but with that said its a pretty okay map. If I had to rank it it would be a low-C tier. I like the steps and the overall story and how the map is tied thematically.
