@jodler56 @TheBlueDodger @obionepodcast You need to shut your gpb. Mikel said the honest truth: if Enzo is tired he should keep shut till the end of the season and then fuck off! Instead of acting like the vice captain and motivating his teammates to put in their best for the end of the season

For 3 years I took the same danfo from Oshodi to CMS every morning. 6:20am. Standing by the overhead bridge where the conductor always shouted "one more, one more" even when the bus was already full. His name was Baba Lawal. He had a system. Before every trip he tapped the roof twice with his palm. Not for the driver. The driver never waited for it. It was something he did for himself. I never asked why. The window seat behind the driver was always mine. Even when I came late and the bus was halfway loaded, he'd hold it. Just point when he saw me pushing through the crowd. No words. Just a point. 2018 they expanded the BRT corridor. The danfo route got squeezed out. One week Baba Lawal was there. Next week a blue BRT bus stood in his place. No announcement. No last trip. Just gone the way those things go in Lagos. I started taking the BRT. Faster. Cleaner. The seats were assigned. I always ended up somewhere in the middle. Six years passed. Last March my car broke down near Aguda in Surulere. My mechanic was unreachable so I pushed it into the nearest compound with a compressor running. Small place. Zinc roof. Radio going. A boy maybe 9 years old was sitting on a bench drawing something on the back of a cornflakes box. I looked at what he was drawing while I waited. It was a danfo. Yellow with the black stripe. Passengers in rows. The window seat behind the driver was empty. I asked him why that seat had no one in it. He said his grandfather told him that seat belonged to someone. I looked up. Baba Lawal was sitting in the corner of the workshop watching me. Older. Thinner. His hair fully white. But he was already looking at me the way you look at someone you recognized before they recognized you. Then he told me his wife used to take that route every morning before she died. Window seat behind the driver because she liked to watch the road. He gave it to people who came early and stood quiet. Said they were the ones actually going somewhere. I had been sitting in a dead woman's seat for 3 years and never knew it. He asked about my car. I told him. He called his son over. Before I left, he tapped the roof of my car twice with his palm. I didn't ask why this time either.

@omaakatugba @khalyemni Noah atubolu na confirmed basket. He has conceded countless cheap goals. Stanley Okoye is better than him but both are not on the same level as Nwabali. I think Arthur Okonkwo would be the best alternative to Nwabali. All his games I've watched habe been solid

Maduka Okoye is at the same level as him. They both play at the highest level of Europe. That’s the real deal. Super eagles alone can’t make you really satisfied. Let’s pray Nwabali finds a club and make proper money. I am actually trying secretly as well. Ask @khalyemni . That’s his dream. Wish him well and stop this buffoonery
Dammy@damii10

@omaakatugba Now this is a goalie that can rival Stanley Nwabali for Nigeria’s number one spot and not your Maduka Okoye

@BankyGee_ For you to rate Adeleye over Uzoho who struggled to catch an aerial ball and rushed out too early to concede the cheap second goal shows you don't know anything about football

Full-time: 🇯🇴 Jordan [2]–[2] Nigeria 🇳🇬 Thoughts: - We might've drawn the game, but there is a LOT of positives from this game. - The Super Eagles are playing free flowing, pleasing-to-the-eyes football now, even from the back! - Emmanuel Fernández is not a myth, he's actually the real deal, a calm, confident, ball-playing, goal-scoring centre-back. He got a good, well-deserved goal. - Francis Uzoho, get out of my national team! So jittery at every attack or free kick. Making free kicks seem like penalties. - Adebayo Adeleye is confident with his feet, but he rushed out too early for that goal he conceded. Still inspired more confidence than Uzoho. - Stanley Nwabali and Maduka Okoye are still the best goalkeepers we have, and it's time Arthur Okonkwo got a Super Eagles call-up. - Collins Yira Sor was invisible all through the game. - Igoh Ogbu, solid as usual. - Ademola Lookman, classy player everytime. - Moses Simon is NOT leaving this team anytime soon, there is a reason he's called Daddy. - Raphael Onyedika did great in the middle, too calm and composed, he held the midfield when he was on the pitch. - NFF, extend Éric Chelle's contract ASAP! What a coach! #JORNGA

@zoooodee @TiborPNagyJr @Al_mustaphar Tell me one or two countries that reserve and were not affected by the price change/Inflation in the ongoing war btw the US and Iran, that way I will understand you better and not think that you are seriously sick upstairs and you have no one to care for you.

It's incredible that Nigeria's petrol prices - even with new refineries - have risen more than any other African country's despite its huge oil holdings. Nigerian Govt can't seem to manage anything - it never planned for a petrol reserve. Pathetic! reuters.com/sustainability…

@Kassanopha @TiborPNagyJr @Al_mustaphar You are definitely sick upstairs because you don't know that only opec nations in the Gulf attacked by Iran have had disruptions due to the war. Oil Countries like Venezuela and Angola with significant fuel reserves have not been affected. Bus cares in the UK have not changed!

This is the problem I have with some people like you. You can't have a civil conversation with people with insulting them or trying to prove you are more knowledgeable. Why? Why is there so much lack of maturity in discussing issues without resulting to insults? Please, I can't continue with you on this.

@Kassanopha @TiborPNagyJr @Al_mustaphar Stop exposing your stupidity and ignorance online. Google why countries maintain reserves and explain why your country which is an oil producing nation, has no reserve and is fully exposed to the international market price dynamics. Fool

@TiborPNagyJr @Al_mustaphar White people can be fuulish too... You can only say this if we have petrol scarcity, the pricing is a global push and everyone else can feel it just like America that has a very large oil reserve. There is no scarcity, we are immune to supply challenge

And is there any chance that the hike in fuel prices in Nigeria and ALL over the is as a result of your stupid, convicted felon, räpïst pedophile Trump? I seem to recollect the US citizens protested against the self absorbed mörön just a couple of days ago. Shut up your mouth, deal with the mess in your country and leave us alone to deal with ours.

Nigeria having oil doesn’t automatically translate to cheap petrol. Until refining, currency stability, and infrastructure are fixed together, price volatility will remain. Don't forget that as crude is priced in dollar, so is Petrol because petrol is dollar linked. When the naira weakens, fuel prices rise locally even if crude is produced domestically.

Her name was Ifunanya Nwangene. Nanyah to those who knew her voice. She was 26. She had left architecture for music. She had completed French classes. She had a collaboration with Tbrass in the pipeline. She was preparing her first solo concert for 2026. She had a soprano that turned chairs on The Voice Nigeria and made Rihanna's words sound like something the composers never imagined. On the morning of 29 March 2026, she would have woken up. She would have seen the posts, the speeches, the birthday tributes rolling across her timeline. And she, one of the over 240 million citizens of this administration, would have added her voice. A soprano voice. The kind Nigeria produces and then fails to protect. She is not here. She is not here because on 31 January 2026, a cobra bit her in her Abuja home while she slept. She woke up in pain and did what any Nigerian in the capital city of Africa's most populous nation would do. She went to the nearest clinic. No antivenom. She went to the Federal Medical Centre. The last dose was used. Her choir director ran through Abuja searching for more. He came back to find her gone. She died at 12:20pm. Four hours after the bite. In Abuja. The same Abuja where N150 billion landed a presidential jet. Where N10 billion is putting solar panels on the Villa. Where N21 billion finished the Vice President's house in twelve months after fourteen years of abandonment. Where the government that cannot keep antivenom in hospitals decided that the comfort of its officials could not wait. Ifunanya could wait, apparently. She waited for four hours. Now she is not here to sing happy birthday. She is not here to add her soprano to the chorus of 240 million voices this administration governs. She is not here to perform that solo concert. She is not here to release the Tbrass collaboration. She is not here to speak French in whatever city she was going to take her voice next. She is not here because the system failed her in the most basic, most preventable, most inexcusable way. A snake bite. Treatable. The Nigerian Senate said it themselves after she died: no Nigerian should die from a treatable snakebite in 2026. But she did. And she is one name. One voice. One soprano. Since the President's last birthday, the National Human Rights Commission has documented 3,584 Nigerians killed and 3,012 kidnapped in fifteen months. Eight dead every day. Seven taken every day. Not statistics. People. Each one had a name. Each one had something they were building. Each one had a birthday they will not see. In November 2025, more than 300 children were taken from a school in Niger State in one night. In January 2026, over 160 worshippers were abducted. The same month Ifunanya died. In February 2026, more than 160 people were killed in two villages in Kwara State in a single attack. The jet that carries the President to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia cannot bring back a single one of them. The solar panels going into Aso Rock cannot light up the hospitals that had no antivenom. The N21 billion residence built for the Vice President in twelve months cannot restore one year of the life Ifunanya will never live. Happy birthday, Mr. President. The soprano is silent. 🐝🐆

Yesterday, I ordered a ride from Eko Atlantic to Ajah via a ride hailing app and a lady pulled up in a Honda Civic Sedan. I greeted her & wore my raybans as i got seated in the car, We had a little chitchat during the course of the trip after which I settled the fare with an additional tip when we got to my residence. This morning, she called me and asked if I would be available for a date this weekend. I was shocked by the audacity of this unprofessional behavior on her part, I feel violated - some women like her really don't understand the concept of boundaries. To make matters even worse, she knows my addresss, now my mental health has taken a hit due to extreme anxiety because this attitude is giving serious 'rapey' vibes. Women need to do better, I really hate it here, I feel so unsafe 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️
