@zpretzel As a reds fan, I think the only reason Phillips was ejected is because he tried to get him on the first pitch and missed and then threw at him again. I think if he hits him with the first one it's an eye for an eye but it became 'too obvious' even tho everyone knew..

Landon Roupp (very intentionally) threw at and hit #Reds OF Spencer Steer. Nothing happens, he stays in the game Connor Phillips (very intentionally) threw at and hit #Giants INF Willy Adames. Phillips is thrown out Make it make sense

Last night, Spencer Steer had choiced words for Giants pitcher JT Brubaker. Today, the Giants drilled Steer on the first pitch he saw Per Jim Day, the Reds expected the Giants to throw at Steer Intentionally throwing at somebody should get you ejected, warning or not

@Just_A_Reds_Fan That’s exactly my thought. I just want consistency Everybody knew Roupp threw at Steer. No warnings before, so don’t throw him out. Whatever But no warnings were issued before Phillips hit Adames. It’s the exact same situation. Both were intentional. Neither had a warning

@CincySportsGuy9 Come on man. Adames was hit on purpose clear as day. Threw one to the backstop first Hitting him in a 0-0 game is WAY different than hitting him while trailing 3-0 late in the game Reds clearly waited until one team took control of the game and then they took their shot on him

@zpretzel Hey dumbass, if the Reds had any intention on hitting Willy Adames they would have hit him in any of his 3 other at bats during the game after Steer was hit in the ribs. The Giants are just a bunch of pussies and mad they suck this year.
