Timeline of Events 👉16:41 – Wallet 0x4240... sold ~163K REX (~$5.3K) on PancakeSwap. Impact spread to CEXs & Bybit → $485K liquidation. Price: $0.0300 (-8.17%). 👉16:42 – Continued sell (~120K REX). Price dropped to $0.02648. 👉16:43 – Bybit liquidation of $1.21M, accelerating the decline. Same wallet sold >1.5M REX (~$48K). Price fell to $0.02265. 👉16:44 – Another Bybit liquidation of $857K. Final sale: 298,521 REX (~$9.5K). Price touched $0.012. 👉16:45–16:49 – Address completed sell-off. Bybit liquidations ended, Open Interest fell $431M → $170M. Total liquidations ≈ $3M. Spot price stabilized near $0.0125

Incident Overview – REVOX (REX) Token On Sept 30, 2025 (16:41–16:45 UTC+8), during an $REX on-chain sell-off, large Bybit futures positions were liquidated, triggering a chain reaction in the derivatives market. Within 4 minutes, about $3M in long positions were liquidated, and the token price dropped sharply from $0.032 → $0.012. The incident was caused by on-chain selling triggering futures liquidations that amplified market volatility.
