I’ve been using our twice daily dog walks to inspect all the local mango trees that are on (at least arguably) public property, but someone else always seems to beat me to the low hanging fruit, literally. #mangoseason

Before moving to Miami Beach, I wasn't even aware that they still made Dodge Chargers.

On our daily walk route, Nemo and I pass by a yard with two dobermans, next door to a yard with two dachshunds, and they ALL hate us. A quartet of ferocious barking in two-part harmony.

(not actually this scene, because I can't find the right gif, but you know the one: where they're all holed up in the house with the windows boarded up, and it's eerily quiet but you can hear the birds cooing from outside, ready to strike at any moment)

When we first moved to Miami, the neighbors warned us about these toxic toads that can kill a dog immediately. Whenever it rains, we hear them ribbit menacingly from the yard, as if taunting Nemo to come out and play -- like that scene in The Birds.

The audacity of American Airlines to rebook my flight AND change my departing airport from Burbank to LAX just 8 hours before takeoff. My airport commute went from a 15-minute jaunt to a 50-minute slog. But at least I’m now a direct flight? Then again, LAX is, welp, IYKYK. 🙃
