I'm of the opinion that @JacintaNgobese has shown more leadership and the kind of action that South Africa now needs than any politician has done collectively in the last 2 decades.
She has taken the government's inefficiency in merely 1 department and shown them the mirror. And look how high they jumped.

NEWS: NPA Spokesperson, Kaizer Kganyago, indirectly confirms that the Vusi Cat Matlala is in talks with the State to spill the beans in exchange for a lighter sentence in the corruption case in the SAPS tender.
However, he says that until the court confirms the deal, he won't publicly confirm the deal and its details.

If @News24 is committed to accurate reporting of General Mkhwanazi’s remarks last Friday, it should ensure that his statement is quoted in full: “If authorities don’t intervene, there will be blood on the floor.”
Notably, nowhere in his utterances does he specify whose blood would be on the floor should authorities fail to intervene. It could be anyone’s.
And only if there’s dereliction of duty by those empowered to intervene.
I hold no brief for Mkhwanazi. However, it is incumbent upon the media to report responsibly and with fidelity to what was actually said.
Extracting a phrase from its broader context can create impressions that the original statement does not support.
Context matters. Accuracy matters. Both are essential to informed public discourse.

A joint operation by the SANDF Military Police and SAPS has led to the recovery of stolen military weapons and the arrest of three suspects in Mooiplaas, Pretoria. Acting on intelligence, authorities conducted two operations during June 2026. On 7 June, two foreign nationals were arrested and a multiple grenade launcher as well as an R4 assault rifle were recovered. The suspects appeared in the Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court, where bail was denied. A follow-up operation on 17 June resulted in the arrest of a third foreign national and the recovery of another multiple grenade launcher. The suspect is due to make his first court appearance. The Military Police have vowed to continue pursuing those responsible until all outstanding stolen military weapons have been recovered and all suspects brought to justice. @SANDF_ZA
