打仗房價會下跌嗎？（懶得看的直接看最後一段） 每次講到房地產，一定會人留言：「如果戰爭來了怎麼辦？」老實說我對這個議題也是頗有興趣，所以查了一下資料。 這題要分兩部分來解： 1.房子以美元計價，有沒有跌？ 2.當地貨幣貶值多少？ 舉例來說，假設烏克蘭一套房子，在戰爭前價值 10 萬美金，開戰後下跌到 8 萬美金。 但是本國貨幣大貶，所以同一套房子反而從 285 萬 UAH 漲到 296 萬 UAH 了。 請問這樣到底是漲是跌？ 回到烏克蘭的房價變化（先忽略被炸毀的房子）： 根據註一裡的那篇報導指出：「…官方宣稱很多房地產的價格已降低了2%，但很多業主都願意減價達20％，以便盡快脫手。 …協議達成時房屋價格可能會被削減多達50％…」 原文沒講到價格的計算基準，如果是以美元計，那烏克蘭房價幾乎沒跌多少；如果是以當地貨幣計，那就是文章裡講的下跌 20~50%，但我認為是前者，原因如下。 因為根據 Properstar 的圖表*2，烏克蘭的房價從2022年開戰後反而緩步上漲約10%~20%（以UAH計）；但若以美金計，當然是下跌了。 再來根據烏克蘭當地的地產YouTube頻道*3，更是挑明了說現在基輔的需求開始恢復，而房價已經上漲到遠超過戰爭之前（用當地貨幣計算的話），另外她也有提到了成交量急凍、新屋停工，所有需求都湧進二手屋等現象。 給懶得看的人：根據烏克蘭的經驗，如果你想買房，甚至戰爭來了都還想買，而且你也覺得會打仗的話，那你該做的應該是換美元，而不是抱著台幣等打仗了再買，因為到時候會更買不起。 註一：rferl.org/a/ukraine-crim… 註二：properstar.co.uk/ukraine/house-… 註三：youtube.com/watch?v=j21beE…

Eh, not really. There were OTC markets like, 25% down from spot that various people were bidding for OKEx funds -- but once we accounted for actual risk (seemed small, the chances it was actually seized seemed *really( small given what we knew) and opportunity cost, seemed bad.

Amidst OKEx's withdrawal suspension -- there was a big level one concern -- Alameda does trade on OKEx, and we had some funds locked there. Was there anything to do?

@QuantRob We write our own algo. And please note that different series might need different resampling method. For example, for volumes, you may want to reset it to 0.

Fellow quants: What's the best way to synchronize tick time series? Say I have series A and 4 more series b,c,d,e... All series have different time stamps. I need to resample b,c,d,e so that they have the same time stamps of A. Any known algo for that? Or have to roll my own?
