But DEI doesn't lower the standards. You have to be qualified in order to be considered for the job. An airline will not hire me just because I want to be a pilot. DEI also includes white men. I am sure if you saw a white pilot, you wouldn't think they weren't qualified for the job and that's the issue. You will only be worried if you see Black folk POC and women.

It's not out of context. He forms the opinion that the pilot may not be qualified solely on the skin color. DEI happens to include white people in case you didn't understand that. Diversity Equity Inclusion. It means EVERYONE (Diversity and inclusion) is treated fairly, and EVERYONE EARNS an EQUITABLE slice of the pie. It doesn't say handouts. Those who are against DEI want it all and don't want to share. The splintering of the UK right worries me. BRUV will not run in the next uk election and likely throw its huge following behind Reform. ALL right wing uk parties should do the same, ALL.
