If you want a better life you work. You make sacrifices Your family comes before iphones, 65” tvs and dodgy sticks. Our welfare system is totally out of control and has become an income for life for many people. If you want better Public Services, a strong military and money to pay for windmills, then every abled body person needs to work FULL TIME

@UKLabour No you haven’t lifted anyone out of poverty Lie-bour. Your economics have stiffed everyone - more tax. Higher cost of living. Fewer jobs and they’re paying less (particularly unskilled jobs). Poverty is skyrocketing!

Oh wow, absolute masterstroke from Labour – binning the two-child cap right before the next election cycle, supposedly to “lift 450,000 kids out of poverty” while slapping another £3 billion a year onto the taxpayer tab. Because nothing says responsible long-term governance like handing out extra cash for every kid after number two, turning family planning into a subsidised hobby at everyone else’s expense. Pure genius. Who needs incentives to work harder or plan smarter when the state’s basically running a buy-one-get-more-free breeding programme? And the timing? Immaculate. Nothing at all to do with locking in those dependable votes – nah, it’s all about the children, honest. The working stiffs grinding away to fund it must be absolutely buzzing. Claps all round for the compassion brigade in Number 10. Fiscal sanity was so last decade anyway.

Now now, you voted initially to keep the two-child cap. This has been done out of political expediency. And even more shamelessly, you frame it as a ground breaking initiative. Your cynical opportunism knows no bounds and it says so much about your myopic arrogance that you think the public is immune to your malfeasance. Stop taking the public for mugs.

@UKLabour What message do you think this sends hard working couples who do not have a single child because the cost of living and taxes are already too high?

@UKLabour LABOUR… THIRD WORLD WELFARE PARTY Jobless migrant households have received more than 10 billion in welfare benefits in just 18 months, official figures show. Annual Defence budget is only 63 billion… let that sink in.

@UKLabour You scrapped it under duress. You did not do this with good intentions. You make decisions. Then you halfheartedly decide how many more people you can afford to lose before making political choices.

@UKLabour Wrong, you lifted the cap to appease large Muslim families. You are desperate to get their votes. Same reason you allowed young girls to be raped.

@UKLabour @labourpress In April, with nearly two years of a Labour government, you are lifting the cap! Starmer suspended seven Labour MPs after they voted to scrap the two-child cap in July 2024 Since then, up to 50,000 MORE children have been pushed into poverty due to Starmer's delay Shocking!!

@UKLabour So we can pay for immigrants with lots of kids they can't afford. Pakistani (41%) and Bangladeshi (38%) households have a higher, disproportionate percentage of families with three or more children compared to White British families (14%)
