@ericmetaxas @GenFlynn Kindly Eric, This is not something to be easily dismissed or overlooked. There is deception occurring on the part of secular geopoliticians that want war. If you as a Christian, are persuaded to be sympathetic to those influences you have to step back and ask why.

@ericmetaxas @GenFlynn Really? An attack on God? And you think God is not powerful enough to handle it? God, Creator of the Universe. God who is in total control. My faith is in God and God alone. My eyes are on Jesus, the author and finisher of the faith.

@ericmetaxas @GenFlynn I appreciate your patience, but I think "leaders" are held to a higher standard for a reason. He should be the one *making* this point, not the one being chastised about it. Did "good men like Caiaphas" just need to be helped to see? Or did they need to be chastised?

While I agree with your sentiment, I've read Flynn's piece and it's not exactly controversial. He's not talking about Israel, but about the rise in Anti-Catholicism which is a real thing. For the record, I'm not a fan of his. But I'm a fan of you and appreciate your brand of Christian unity.

Wrong. Catholics never have and never will believe in or supported Zionism. The Christian heretics who broke off from Catholicism and offended God do support Zionism. Also, quick note the Catholics and Jews do not worship the same God. Trinitarian Catholics worship the one true God. There hasn’t been a practicing Jew in over 2000 years since they do not have a temple to make their sacrifices in. Beware of those who say they are Jews but are not. The Jews rejected Jesus and therefore rejected and turned away from the one true God and His two gifts to us, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit. Let me know if you have any questions!

Yet another example of one active measure bootstrapping itself up by the other. Or Maybe a common intersectional line of operation (LOO) that pits synthetic Protestants against synthetic Catholics (promoting a synthetic "integralism" in a common dialectical attack that seeks the implosion of Christianity while making it seem foolish. In other words, a dialectical attack.

@ericmetaxas @GenFlynn No, you're right Metaxas. The fact that on Twitter Catholics are getting critiques on theology from Jews and "Christians regarding their faith and that "Catholic" has been mentioned over a thousand times is in no way indicative of an attack whatsoever. Dope.

@ericmetaxas @GenFlynn His son is a flaming anti-semite! His posts are on par with Candace's. Flynn best friends, Candace and Carrie think they can speak for all Catholics when they claim "CATHOLICS CAN'T BE ZIONISTS". They have zero understanding of the doctrine or of the faith.

@ericmetaxas @GenFlynn Here's Mike Flynn leading an auditorium full of people in an occult prayer. The woman is Elizabeth Clare Prophet, the late leader of the Summit Lighthouse cult, which practiced Theosophy. He's not a "good man." He's working towards the overthrow of the United States government.

@ericmetaxas @GenFlynn The Jews rejected their covenant and refuse Jesus. Jesus made it very clear that they were to follow him and he is the son of Man. I don’t know why this is so difficult for Protestants to understand.

Who killed (executed) Jan Hus? Grok, **Jan Hus** (also known as John Hus) was not "killed" by a single individual in the modern sense of murder, but was **executed by burning at the stake** on July 6, 1415, in Konstanz (Constance), Germany. This was the result of a formal ecclesiastical trial and sentence handed down by the **Council of Constance** (an ecumenical council of the Catholic Church convened to resolve the Western Schism and address heresy). Hus, a Czech theologian, reformer, and precursor to the Protestant Reformation, was convicted of heresy for teachings heavily influenced by John Wycliffe, including criticisms of church corruption, indulgences, papal authority, and other doctrines deemed heretical. Key points of the process: - Hus traveled to the Council under a promise of **safe conduct** from **Sigismund**, the King of the Romans (later Holy Roman Emperor), but was arrested soon after arrival. - He refused repeated demands to recant his views. - The Council declared him a heretic, formally degraded him from the priesthood, and then handed him over to the **secular (civil) authorities** for punishment (standard procedure at the time to avoid direct church involvement in executions). - The secular arm — under imperial authority — carried out the sentence: he was tied to a stake, wood and straw were piled around him, and he was burned alive. - Accounts describe him praying, singing hymns, and refusing a final chance to recant even as the flames rose. In summary: - The **Council of Constance** (representing the Catholic Church hierarchy) condemned him. - **Secular authorities** (acting on the Council's sentence) physically executed him. - No single person is named as "the killer" in historical records — it was an official, collective judicial execution for heresy. His death sparked outrage in Bohemia, leading to the **Hussite Wars** and making him a national hero and martyr in Czech history. Centuries later (in 1999), Pope John Paul II expressed "deep regret" for the cruel manner of Hus's death.

@ericmetaxas @GenFlynn I don’t believe Israel is attacking the Catholic Church. However, the Catholic Church has historically persecuted Jews. Let’s not rewrite history.
