@Christoph_Sigi I think that was it, the expectation is for you to withdraw **just** the sweepable amount. Any additional withdrawal will lower EB, even with parallel partial withdrawals. Btw, you can fiddle with the simulator to see how effective balance changes!

@0xPulp Is this only true if you sweep less than 1ETH? I think I used this as a gauge on how much I can withdraw to max. efficiency. But I withdrew some ETH plus the recommended sweepable amount. Is this the part I misunderstood?

I have an eth validator, type 0x02. I made a partial withdrawal that "landed" today that should (at least according to pectrified.com) have safely stayed above a certain lower hysteresis boundary. It reduced the effective balance anyway. Anywhere I can read up on that?

@Christoph_Sigi I'll need to put some warning or even delete that section. Last I want is to mislead users...

@0xPulp Yes, this reading from the validator: "Maximum sweepable amount The withdrawal amount of Ξ?? is the maximum that can be withdrawn from the validator’s balance without reducing its effective balance. Withdrawing a higher amount will likely decrease the effective bal."(pectrified)

@Madman6000 @UncleRewards had an accounting bug there; basically "leaving" means validator active BUT exiting; pectrified was accounting for withdrawal times ways after exit. it's fixed now, should show how long to exit the validator (not when it becomes withdrawable)

@NeuralGuesswork @TedPillows oh hey there was a bug in waiting time for withdrawals. should be sorted now :) validatorqueue[.]com was accurate on this one

@TedPillows pectrified.com says otherwise. Deposit requests > 7 x withdrawal requests Still impressing, though.

Ethereum entry queue is now 237x higher than the exit queue. Insane demand for staking $ETH.

the deposit & withdrawal queues are a useful leading indicator. queue dynamics connect directly to validator count, effective balance, and network posture. hope it helps to have a better understanding of network dynamics. dashboard: pectrified.com/mainnet/analyt…

these forecasts assume current deposit/withdrawal dynamics continue. mass validator exits surges would shift everything. pectrified recalculates continuously to stay grounded in reality. forecasts are useful directional signals, not guarantees. network conditions change fast.

just shipped network historical analysis of ethereum's validator set. have sneak peek into deposit queue, withdrawal credential adoption, and network validators balances and counts since from Pectra onwards. the data helps us uncover what's coming next 🧵

A new milestone in Ethereum staking! Compounding validators now hold 2.026M ETH - 5.67% of all staked ETH. Thread:👇

Just my opinion without a hard look at the data: seems consolidations and deposits obviously played a great role. But Kiln exiting 5% of the network, which were 0x01, likely had a positive impact on 0x02 share. Maybe pectrified.com needs new dashboards. Stay tuned :)

Took less than 2 months to go from 5% to 10% of 0x02 validators! The number of validators grew less, but their average effective balance now sits at ~677 ETH per validator. If these were 0x01, instead of 5,268 validators, we'd have 111,539. The network appreciates the effort!

Validator 1073521 was recently slashed, likely the first 0x02 fat validator, with 2020 ETH ($8.75M) in Effective Balance. What happens now? Back of the napkin math: - initial penalty of ~0.5 ETH - 43 days of inactivity ~4.12 ETH Check it at: pectrified.com/mainnet/valida…
