With respect @RepThomasMassie , NDAA has nothing to do with integrating/synchronizing United States and Israeli militaries. It could use some more wording but we already have cooperation in AI, Missile Defense, Troop Protection, Intelligence and Reconnaissance, and many other technologies with Israel, UK, Japan, Australia, and South Korea. The integration is on costs and research sharing of future military tech NOT merging our militaries. The US should cooperate aggressively on defense tech where interests overlap, but always as the senior partner setting the terms. Section 224 should be amended for stronger guardrails (clear reciprocity metrics, limits on data fusion, sunset provisions, and explicit US veto on sensitive transfers).  You could help out where the provisions are weak and amend some things,(like how a person could read it and determine our militaries are to be integrated /synchronized.) The NDAA is just Congress authorizing a Memorandum of Understanding, like we have done for other allies throughout decades. BTW, since when has Congress been able to do anything remotely quietly?
