Just six more games until Brooklyn abandons tanking for likely a long time.
It has certainly been difficult, even more trying after falling in the lottery last year but it’s almost over. Hopefully the lottery outcome in May makes it all worth it.
Either way, the phase of building it all back up begins against shortly.

Six games remain for Brooklyn as they lose another to drop to 18-58. 1-4 seems to be the range with games remaining against Washington and Indiana.

This post and story should be immediately retracted by ABC News for providing false information to intentionally alarm the American people. They wrote this based on one email that was sent to local law enforcement in California about a single, unverified tip. The email even states the tip was based on *unverified* intelligence. Yet ABC News left out this critical fact in their story! WHY? TO BE CLEAR: No such threat from Iran to our homeland exists, and it never did.

Maybe I’m just old school, but I hate the new Champions League format.
The old group stage... home and away vs the same 3 teams... built some actual rivalry, especially if you got drawn with the same team in back-to-back years. You learned the matchups, you dreaded the away trip, you circled the “must win” spots.
Now it just feels so random. You get an epic match between two teams and you can't look forward to another one. 24 of 36 teams moving on from the Group Stage feels like you can still get rewarded for playing like trash. I'm not a fan.

With Kimmel getting canned I’m seeing lots of people talking about the hypocrisy of cancel culture. To me Cancel culture is when people go out of their way to dig up old tweets, videos etc looking for dirt on somebody they don’t like in an effort to get them fired. Like if Kimmel got canceled for shit he did on the Man Show that would be cancel culture. But when a person says something that a ton of people find offensive, rude, dumb in real time and then that person is punished for it that’s not cancel culture. That is consequences for your actions

It's worth remembering that DOGE is a failure at Every. Single. Possible. Level.
At the micro level, they misread, misled and straight up lied about many of the 'savings'. They'd announce '500m saved!' and it would be some contract where the money was 98% already spent and already wasn't being renewed.
At the macro level, they didn't impact spending at all. The government is spending more in 2025 than 2024, on basically the same trajectory but a little more.
At the institutional level, they didn't even convince the GOP that deficits are a problem worth caring about. The GOP just passed a bill that explodes the deficit by trillions of dollars.
At a personal level, Elon got run out of town with his tail between his legs and the most notable public facts about the Cracked Coders are that one of them was a mini Hitler, one was called 'big balls' and none of them bothered to learn how the government actually works before they lit it on fire.
They gutted a bunch of important institutions, fired whole departments at random, decimated medical research funding, killed a bunch of people dependent on USAID, and still failed at every possible level.
