Trump contacted Fox News host John Roberts and provided the call logs proving he spoke with Newsom for 16 minutes on Saturday. John Roberts: “Well, President Trump contacted me from Air Force 1 on his way to Fort Bragg, North Carolina… he said: ‘First call was not picked up. Second call, Gavin picked up, we spoke for 16 minutes. I told him to, essentially, ‘get his a$$ in gear,’ and stop the riots, which were out of control. After CBS embarrassed Karen Bass by fact-checking her debate lies about the Palisades Fire, they clearly got the call. CBS filmed with me on my burned out lot for over an hour, and they turned it over to Karen Bass’ PR team to edit it into a comical 5 minute hit piece with clips from the Hills. They can’t beat my ideas, they can’t beat me in the debates, so they gotta try to turn my campaign into a sideshow. People are done with these skeezy political tricks, and I’m done with CBS. They’ll never get a word from me for my next 8 years as mayor. Adios! What outlet should I have in their absence?

Last month in Virginia, the people made their voices heard at the ballot box and voted for new Congressional maps. Today, the Virginia Supreme Court ignored the will of the people and overturned those democratically chosen maps. This ruling gives a boost to Donald Trump's effort to rig the 2026 elections and the Republicans' long game to attack voting rights. We are rightfully outraged, but we will not give up. We must continue our fight to restore the power of the people.
