As I looked at the room, I remembered where I started. Influence is not about the microphone. It is about the ability to bring people together and elevate others. You start small. Music therapy can have an extraordinary impact on people living with dementia – unlocking memories and allowing them to express themselves. I had a wonderful time at @room217fdn’s 2025 conference “The Power of a Song in Dementia Care.” Thank you for the work you do helping our most vulnerable.
