Artan is a 13-year-old student from Vaughan who took the time to reach out to me to learn about government. It's not every day you meet such a young person with a real interest in public service. I shared my story about how I got involved in politics at the exact same age because, like Artan, I took the initiative and emailed my MPP, the late and great Al Palladini. Al called my home to encourage me to get involved, and I'll never forget that. Paying it forward with this impressive kid, as he soon departs for Ottawa to learn French in the Explore Program. Artan is well on his way to becoming the future Prime Minister of Canada!

Everyone is fired up at @Liuna506Train for Ontario’s plan to lead North America’s largest nuclear expansion. You can “Feel the Power” and momentum on the ground as we create 150,000 new jobs and counting.

Our government won’t put a price on safety and I mean it when I say we will spare no expense to protect communities from wildfires. To the firefighters and emergency personnel on the ground, and to everyone who has been impacted by these fires, my message is simple: we will have your backs, no matter what.

Another productive conversation with Vale Base Metals, a respected company investing in Ontario’s critical minerals future. Great to meet with the team as we work to attract further investment to secure reliable supplies of critical minerals. We are making sure Ontario remains investors’ first choice by creating the regulatory certainty to build, expand, and create good-paying jobs for generations to come.

Took some time in #RenfrewCounty to reconnect with @JAYakabuski, @BillytheKidPC and @Sflecce. Change is best made when we collaborate across ministry and municipal lines. Our schedules may throw us in different directions, but our government remains laser focused on moving our shared priorities forward.
