@AdamPlotkin Great point. We always had elite teams play good games with good crowds/atmosphere but never great atmosphere for the NCHC title game at the X. NCHC now on the right track. Slowly but surely we're all getting there :)

My take exactly. With ICE already funded, Democrats obtained nothing. They held the country hostage, put us all at risk, wrecked air travel and obtained NOTHING. It is almost as if they did not realize ICE is already funded.

Because Senate Democrats didn’t end up accepting the Republican offer on DHS funding & negotiations fell apart yesterday, Dems will get *zero* of the ICE reforms they had been demanding, including ones that GOP had already agreed to, like showing ID, increased Congressional oversight, agreements to not hit sensitive locations, etc. These reforms were the reason Dems started the shutdown in the first place, and now instead of getting a few concessions on their demand list, they get none. The only thing they secured was no funding for CBP & ICE, which are largely already funded via the OBBB, and Republicans will seek to fund them even further without Dem votes in reconciliation instead. As for the Dem’s demand list on ICE reforms? “That ship has sailed,” Sen. Majority Leader John Thune said this morning. “They kissed that opportunity goodbye by failing to provide funding for those agencies.”

Hey, there is something to this. Not liking the look of things and going snowboarding or fishing has saved me a ton over the years! :-) I am serious. Staring at screens until you convince yourself you see a trade and force a bad entry will invariably lead to losses.

@DStarmanHockey Campus sites for the NCHC tournament the past few weeks worked phenomenally well. Magness Arena had an electricity every game that was off the charts. Reward the teams that played well all year to earn higher seeds. Good for the fans and good for the game.

An idea is, neutral site or campus site--West based regionals have CCHA, NCHC, B1G teams only, east regionals HEA, ECAC, AHA. You get into a quagmire with #1 seeds and other issues but it's an idea. Other hockey leagues have figured this out. Think outside the box-GROW THE GAME!

@stheisen21 @blindmcsquueze No matter where UND plays you would have a wall of green in the building. UND travels well. Also, keep east teams east and west teams west, and enough with this BS of you can't play a conference team in the first round. Modernize the mindset for the good of the game.
