Final post. I was staying on X to try to understand and discuss other points of view but the level of nastiness is beyond what my mental health can tolerate. I know nobody will miss me. I certainly won't miss y'all

@Matthewtravis08 I think it’s sad for anyone to lose their source of income… but 12 years doesn’t sound like probationary? I feel bad for the feds, the pipe line workers 4 years ago, and tech workers. People that don’t feel bad lack empathy.

Do you people not realize how close we are to Hitler? Let’s just say that Trump violently broke the law in order to expel immigrants from America. Let’s just say he killed immigrants because he realized he couldn’t expel them fast enough. Does anyone honestly think that he would face any consequences? This would merely be deemed an “official Presidential act” by the man who believes you can’t violate the law if he’s “saving the country.” Obviously Republicans wouldn’t vote to convict him in an impeachment. He would literally get away with murder. MAGA would justify it just like they justify every other thing he illegally does. They’d say that the immigrants were “criminals,” and that they “shouldn’t have come here in the first place if they wanted to live.” That’s how close we are. Does anyone actually bother think this is possible if Trump decided to go down this path?

Some of what DEI is: -ramps and sidewalk curb cuts -subtitles & captions (TV & phone) -floating paid holidays -pay equity & transparency -parental leave (time & pay) Some of What DEI isn’t: -hiring an under-qualified person for a job because they’re a person of color (is illegal)

Leaving WHO is a direct message to the rest of the world that the US is not interested in helping to keep the world a place safe from new health emergencies or epidemics, and that it doesn’t want to be part of a common effort to help improve health around the world. 6/x
