It's not 'racist' you silly man It's culturalist Some cultures are kinder and more humane than others For example, cultures that do not allow female genital mutilation, child marriage, stoning and beating of women and themurder of people who disagree with them...are superior to cultures that allow these barbaric behaviours
Liza Rosen@LizaRosen0000

Muslim MP Iqbal Mohamed in Britain claims the issue of cousin marriages should not be discussed, criminalized, or banned at the state or parliamentary level. He argues it is “racist” to legislate against the Muslim migrant population that wishes to continue the practice. Instead of “stigmatizing” them, he suggests Britain provide more resources and education to the community, potentially by subsidizing genetic testing, screening, IVF, and embryo testing so the cultural practice can continue.

Scotland only doesn’t have a deficit because Westminster fills the black hole created by your reckless tax-and-spend polices. On day one of independence you’d need to start funding that deficit yourself: an incredible 12% of your GDP. How would you do it? Issue gilts (or kilts) in groats?
Davmax@Davmax18

@afneil Stop with your lies you fraud Scotland isn’t permitted to have a deficit and you know it, we’re under WM control as you know 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

If you ever feel stupid just remember that people will vote today based on their football club for a worse future for all, simply because they feel like being right wing aligns with supporting said football club.

🚨 TUCKER CARLSON: “The UK is NOT a sovereign country it’s serving Israel” In a brutal clash with journalist Victoria Derbyshire, Tucker Carlson dropped the hammer: Britain is no longer acting independently. It’s making political decisions to protect Israel even if that means arresting its own citizens. He pointed directly to the wave of arrests targeting Palestine Action activists, arguing people in the UK are being detained simply for pro-Palestine expression. His closing blow: “If your government limits criticism of another country, you are not a sovereign nation. The same applies to the United States.” This is the conversation the establishment doesn’t want happening. Is the West still free… or just well-managed?

Welcome to the true face of socialism . What Blair fails to acknowledge is that his net worth is over £45M, more likely closer to £60M. The Blair family, including his wife Cherie Blair and son Euan Blair, controls a significant real estate portfolio valued in excess of £25 million. As a former PM he gets over 5K per month pension, and also as a former PM he gets Public Duty Cost Allowance (PDCA), for ‘office costs’, he claimed over £100k in a single year! And that’s without his tax payer funded security team, costing millions annually.
Grifty@TheGriftReport

Tony Blair has urged scrapping the ‘unaffordable’ pensions triple lock that protects millions of pensioners, his own think tank claims the system is outdated and too rigid for modern life with costs exploding by £85 billion a year by 2070, the former PM’s report demands it ends after the next election and be replaced by a new ‘lifespan fund’ that forces people to build their own entitlement through work, Blair’s director Tom Smith said Britain’s state pension was built for a different era and we can’t keep pouring money into a system that is increasingly unaffordable, pensioners facing rising bills are now told to accept less while the multi-millionaire ex-leader lectures them on restraint, Thoughts?

SHE NAMED THE ABUSERS. THEY SENT HER ON A DIVERSITY COURSE. In 2001, solicitor Adele Weir was hired by Rotherham Council on a Home Office programme to research child sexual exploitation in the area. What she found was horrifying. Her ten-page mapping exercise named suspects, listed car registrations, and linked 54 abused children to one family. She estimated 270 victims at that point alone. She took her findings to senior South Yorkshire Police (@syptweet) officers. They told her the report was unhelpful. A police commander accused her of making up stories and deliberately lying. She was told to anonymise individuals and institutions. She was told she and her colleagues were exceeding their roles. Then files were stolen from the Risky Business office where she worked. No broken locks. No broken windows. A computer had been accessed. A police officer stopped her in her car and told her, in no uncertain terms, that people knew where she lived. Her work was sidelined. By 2007 the operation around her had effectively collapsed. Her reports were finally released by South Yorkshire Police (@syptweet) in 2015, only after a Freedom of Information request. The Jay Report, published in 2014, found that approximately 1,400 children had been abused in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013. It concluded that by 2005 it was hard to believe senior officers and elected members were not aware of the problem. Zero senior officials were prosecuted. Zero. A researcher identified the abuse network in 2001 with names, car plates, and victim counts. The institution's response was to bury the paperwork and threaten the person who wrote it. Tony Blair’s thinktank urges Labour to scrap ‘unaffordable’ pension triple lock. 2m pensioners live in poverty. Full post-2016 state pension is received by 35% of retirees, less than 50% of minimum wage. Silence on taxing the rich, redistribution. theguardian.com/money/2026/may…

Covid restrictions were intentionally designed to be as ridiculous as possible. It was a test to determine whether fear could be used to manipulate people into complying with overtly nonsensical rules, against their own interests. Most people failed the test.

SHOCKING INCIDENT AT OUR NIGHT SHELTER Tonight, a guest from House Of Gods Hotel forced his way into our shelter demanding we film him handing out food for publicity. Our volunteers refused and asked him to leave. He became aggressive, saying he was a marine and issued threats, then violently assaulted a volunteer head butting and punching them. Despite calling 999, @PSOSGreaterGlas Greater Glasgow took over 30 minutes to attend while our volunteers were left trying to defend themselves and protect vulnerable guests, who were forced to wait outside in fear. Even more concerning hotel staff attended and asked if their guest could return, despite the assault. This is completely unacceptable. Our volunteers are here to save lives not be attacked. Zero tolerance for violence. Full stop.

A wee thread about Malcolm Offord and why it is absolutely OK to slate him. Offord spent his working life as a banker before being appointed to the House of Lords and becoming a Tory minister. Now he has moved onto Reform, which is just Tory Plus.

Rupert Lowe keeps getting humiliated. "An investigation by a KC concluded that there was ‘credible evidence’ that he had mistreated 2 female members in a way that ‘seemed to amount to harassment’. I don’t want to hear anything from him about violence against women & girls."
