Your meme with the big red map and “small pockets of blue shitholes” is classic dumb geography fail. Those blue pockets — dense cities, suburbs, and coastal metros — are where the overwhelming majority of Americans actually live.
About 80% of the U.S. population is urban or suburban. The vast empty red spaces on a land map contain far fewer people.
Empty acres don’t vote. People do.
Trump won the popular vote, sure. But sneering at the concentrated engines of American prosperity as “shitholes” is pathetic elitism in reverse. Those “small pockets” generate the lion’s share of:
GDP, tax revenue, innovation, tech, finance, culture, medicine, and global power.
They house most of the educated workforce, young people, and future growth.
Your “Red Kingdom” of wide-open land includes vital farms and energy, but pretending it’s the “real America” while insulting the places where most citizens live, work, and build wealth is just resentful cope.
America isn’t a kingdom of empty dirt with a few annoying blue exceptions. It’s a country of people — densely packed in some places, spread out in others — and your map reduces complex reality to childish insults.
Grow up.

BREAKING: Iran directly rejects Trump's new claim of a deal being signed tomorrow, saying the insistence on signing the deal on specifically Sunday is engineered around his own birthday, calling it a "propaganda event" that Trump is trying to turn into a unilateral "symbolic occasion" for himself, along with his UFC White House event, per Fars.
The Iranian negotiating team says it "will not permit such a media and ceremonial manoeuvre," explicitly stating that the memorandum of understanding has not been finalized and no signing will happen.

The UAE is releasing billions of dollars to Iran as part of a deal to reduce bilateral tensions and assist with reopening the strait.
It could be as much as $20 billion. $3 billion has already been delivered, confirming rumors from earlier this week.

I'm seeing a lot of fake information about a potential deal to reopen the Strait and end Iran's nuclear weapons program. First, the Iranians are not receiving any cash, and no funds are being released for simply signing a deal or attending a meeting. The deal is structured to ensure that the US and its allies concerns are prioritized, and that if the Islamic Republic of Iran meets its obligations, then economic benefits will flow to them and to the entire region. This deal has the potential to remake the region and lead to lasting peace. I've noticed a couple of bizarre things in the reporting over the last few hours. First, people who (rightly) said Donald Trump was a historic president a month ago now criticizing a deal based on unconfirmed media reports. Second, people who say you can't trust a word said by the IRGC who apparently believe anonymously sourced social media posts. The president is going to get us a good outcome, one way or the other.

In reality neither Trump nor the U.S. military really ‘decides’ if the strait is fully open or closed at this point — even though the U.S. Navy has helped some ships transit in recent weeks.
The shipping industry, ultimately, decides.
