This isn't "unauthorized war"—it's the Commander in Chief exercising his constitutional authority to defend America after your weak-ass policies let the threat grow. Congress can fund, declare formal war if it escalates, or cut the purse strings if they hate it that much—but they don't get to micromanage every defensive or preemptive strike while troops are under fire.
