My review of the book so far. I’m in over 100 pages and whilst its obviously really well written and full of detail, it’s not details that I haven’t read, heard or seen before. I think “Revenge” was so much more powerful because we didn’t really know them that well, so their behaviour was more shocking. Now Betrayal feels bland and flat because we’re not surprised by them anymore. I’m hoping it’s going to improve as the timeline gets closer but I’m a bit disappointed so far.
