@THKOEsoon Not the most genuine take on spurs squad and issues they face. 41 -3 (Solomon/veliz /biss) loans for academy boys (as many as 13 listed above) and we are down to 25 without selling Romero or dragusin. Could easily sell/loan4 more and we have plenty of space
English

@DaleJohnsonBBC Find it odd there’s no mention of the goal Fulham scored v spurs after a clear push on the defender.

REVEALED!
Every Premier League VAR and refereeing error this season
🟥 Arsenal escaped 3 red cards and 3 penalties - actually received 0
✅ Gunners & Chelsea benefit from most ref mistakes
❌ Leeds the ONLY club not to gain from a referee or VAR error

@unge0pel @NLAHamilton Probably 3/4 of these really if they’re serious
English

@NLAHamilton Rogers, Wharton, Yildiz, Osimhen.. one of these.
English

@NLAHamilton Osimhen. Would need a big fee and big wages. But it would turn heads and demonstrate ambition
English

@DaleJohnsonBBC @DaleJohnsonBBC so after this season, what’s your opinion on the implementation of VAR? Are refereeing standards slipping? And do players make it almost impossible for refs with constant playacting and gamesmanship?

@ChangeForSpurs @KallumStubbs97 I genuinely could not believe how the January window went. It was clear we needed more quality, and it was an opportunity for the new owners to prove they were more ambitious than the levy era. So this summer is key for them to put their money where their mouth is. Let’s see…
English

@ProTottenham Sadly I think there’s a risk you could add gray bergvall and tel to that list. We sign players regardless of how they fit our needs for the manager. And we don’t appoint the same profile of manager each time so it holds us back
English

Not replying to anyone anymore on this because I think youre all missing the point here
I am not criticising Robertson, as I said in the tweet if you read it he is a leader and a character
I am criticising the structure to how we recruit players for our team
For anyone still doubting hered a few examples:
Gil
Rodon
Solomon
Djed Spence (worked out well but he WAS a club signing)
Veliz
Jack Clarke
Royal
Gollini
Foyth
Vinicius
Fernandes
English

It doesnt take a genius to work out where so many of our problems lie as a club and it is when it comes to our recruitment
A prime example is us signing Andy Robertson. Not going to knock the guy, hes a leader, a character and a good player. Its the structure to it which is all wrong
We wanted Robertson back in January when we had Thomas Frank, and we are still pushing ahead with him under De Zerbi. So thats when you start to raise questions over the vision of the club and what type of Tottenham they see us being
How can you have a recruitment team signing players without them being the Managers first pick?
If Robertson was a great fit for Frank, how is he a great fit for RDZ? Or vice versa. Frank is pragmatic, RDZ is front footed. Two completely different managers, but both suitable for the same player?
Until there is a proper restructure to our recruitment, we are only ever going to see the same problems arising where players we sign, simply dont work out. It goes back as far as Contes "club signing" quote when it came to Djed Spence. It wasnt the player who was the problem Conte was annoyed at, it was the structure

@SpursGuy88 I doubt we’d actively sell Bentancur or Gallagher, and Solanke probs stays too. Why force out Davies? Also not really worth making a big point about getting rid of Bissouma playing or RKM when their contracts at spurs all expire. It’s really just 5 must sells
English

We actually need 11 out this Summer:
Vicario
Dragusin
Davies
Palhinha
Bissouma
Bentancur
Gallagher
Solomon
Muani
Richarlison
Solanke
Leicester City@LCFC
We can confirm that 10 Men’s First Team players will depart upon the expiration of their contracts this summer. We would like to thank all those leaving us for their contributions during their time on Filbert Way, and wish them the very best for the future.
English

@Kish_P14 I love this. If United can get third on one game p/w then so can we, especially with a fit Maddison and kudus, along with better football and a deeper squad
English

@Martin_Buhagiar @DaleJohnsonBBC It’s mad. VAR exists to eliminate errors. Having trained professionals watch it back should mean they get it right every time. If it’s still a lottery with VAR then just scrap it. Or does VAR just make it harder to get away with corruption? Not sure…
English

@DaleJohnsonBBC Given we now have VAR, how on earth are they getting so many decisions wrong every single week?
What is the point of VAR if the same mistakes keep happening? May as well scrap it and allow us to enjoy football again.
English

Premier League's key match incidents panel logs three VAR errors:
1⃣ Penalty to Everton v Man City, holding by Silva on Rohl
2⃣ Penalty to West Ham at Brentford, holding by Lewis-Potter on Soucek
3⃣ No penalty to Bournemouth v Crystal Palace, no foul

@adamdnathan This feeling is exactly why we can never be in this position again. Horrible experience
English

@HACKETTREF It just shows how far away we are from having an officiating body that is fit for purpose. 1 ref, 2Var and 1 KMI member believe this isn’t a pen. None of them fit to continue in their posts and should all be stood down effective immediately
English

My worry is that one person in the panel did not see this has handball. I hope that person receives some operational advice and is not invited into that panel in future
JosephVickers__@JosephVickers__
🔵🚨 The Premier League’s key match incidents panel has ruled that Everton should have been awarded a penalty in their 2-1 defeat at West Ham for a handball by Mateus Fernandes The panel voted 4:1 that it was an error by both the referee and the VAR [@DaleJohnsonBBC]
English

@hartnett1977 @IvanGowan I guess spurs does do crazy things to people eh?
English

@DaleJohnsonBBC Dale in your role on reporting on the refereeing /VAR/KMI decisions, what’s your overriding opinion on the standards of referees? Is VAR fit for purpose? Do certain laws need an urgent review (even a rewrite)? You seem to get dogs abuse for reporting the situation. Your thoughts
English

Everton should have been awarded a penalty in the 2-1 defeat at West Ham for handball by Mateus Fernandes, the KMI Panel says.
"He punched the ball," Moyes said after the game.
The panel voted 4:1 that it was an error by both the referee and VAR.
