If you’re going to be traveling the world, learn basic English. There’s a reason English is considered the primary global lingua franca. You don’t have to be fluent. A simple ‘Sorry, my friend, I did not say nigga. I said amiga, which means friend in my language’ would have solved everything. He was so close to losing a tooth. He was so confused, I’m not even sure he could understand what the other guy was saying.

An Italian streamer in Japan said “amiga” in Spanish (meaning “friend”) to some fans.
A passing black American thought he’d said “Nigga” and aggressively confronted him.
