You’re right. Catholics are attacked because we have the truth. I came into the Catholic Church last Easter, and I see it so clearly. I used to be a non-denominational Christian before converting. I know the things that are said about Catholics behind closed doors and even from pulpits. I didn’t convert into something trendy or comfortable. I knew after converting the attacks would come. But, it was worth it. I came home to the truth. The church Jesus established. The Eucharist, not a symbol but Jesus Christ Himself. Two thousand years of truth that hasn’t changed to please the world. The Pope, the successor of Peter. The Magisterium, guarding the faith without compromise. The saints and martyr’s, who have gone before boldly proclaiming the gospel even unto death. The Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother, who leads us to her Son and has never abandoned His Church. And people hate that. They hate what I found. They hate that I won’t bend it, soften it, or turn it into something it’s not. They hate that I defend it. I will continue to stand for Christ and his Church. No matter the cost.

I’m sick and tired of people attacking the Pope simply for calling for peace and speaking out against war and destruction. For God’s sake, if the Pope won’t urge an end to senseless wars, who will? Do we really expect Lindsey Graham or Ted Cruz to do it? We’ve lost our moral compass and our sanity just to appease the warmongers, the bloodthirsty, and the corrupt elites who care only about the profits they can make and the supremacy they can assert. God help us all.

Protestants are not even United amongst each other. There are over 40,000 denominations. Different doctrines. Very disorganised and confused people 😔

One day, every Catholic who spent the last few days publicly attacking the Holy Father in order to defend Trump will have to face those posts on their personal judgment day. We don’t get to choose which parts of the Church we defend when it’s politically convenient.

@AustinInquiry @SnowHimbo The problem with AI and automation is political. It requires a complete redesign of the political system. Not just reform. I don't say AI is not dangerous, but that is more dangerous to leave all the control to the ones owning the compute power and the robotized factories.

Pope Leo XIV represents everything that President Trump is not—an overwhelmingly popular, humble, gracious, and kind leader who is devoted to serving God and others without fear or favor. As Catholics, we are taught that all of us are created in the image of God. We are instructed to strive for peace and to recognize the dignity of all people. The idea that Donald Trump would instead choose to lash out at the pope, claim credit for his elevation, and call him ‘weak,’ is both offensive and morally repugnant. Pope Leo continues to lead by example, reaffirming that he is not afraid of the Trump administration and will continue to speak out about the values found in Scripture. I call on all Republicans to condemn Trump’s divisive words and hateful actions.
