@BobInNZ1 Everything Iran has done in this war proves that everything the US said about Iran is true, they will attack us any chance they get, even for cheap shots that have no bearing on the enemy. Every single country who is participating in this war is a corrupt piece of shit country.

The fact that the word “likely” is being used should tell you everything you need to know about this article. If there was any definitive proof of this, they would use it, they would be interviewing the troops and filming them but somehow the world is supposed to believe the US signed an NDA with the GCC, or better yet the Trump administration is sitting on evidence and choosing not to share it with the world. 🙄

U.S. missiles that hit Iran likely were fired from Gulf countries that have taken the brunt of Iranian drone and missile attacks—although none acknowledges allowing use of their land or airspace on.wsj.com/4rLLyvx

The US bases in the GCC have not been used in this war, it is absurd that you expect the Muslims being attacked by Iran to do anything other than condemn being attacked by Iran when they have been trying to prevent this war. The restraint the GCC had showed thus far in spite of the Irani aggression is commendable, especially since these same states have been on the receiving end of the IRGC’s imperialist agenda for decades.

This Ramadan was one of the deadliest and most horrific months for Muslims in decades as Israel and the United States waged war and bombed three Muslim nations: Iran, Lebanon & Palestine. A direct attack against resistance to US and Israeli imperialism while Gulf Arab states hosted US bases and put out statements condemning Iran for defending itself instead of the US and Israel for launching these horrific wars.

This is exactly why the Arab world will never get it’s shit together. Iran attacked the GCC within an hour of being attacked by Israel and the US, before we even heard about the murder of all those school children we heard sirens, interceptors and missiles exploding overhead. The GCC were literally the only ones actively trying to prevent this war. It’s absurd that there is outrage at how the GCC did not condemn attacks on Iran while being attacked by Iran. Meanwhile Israel gets what it wanted a regional war that gives it cover to keep killing in the West Bank and Lebanon.

this statement reeks of zionist obfuscation tactics. 1. ignore the unprovoked US-Israel aggression that started the war (as well as the cruel sanctions and previous unprovoked attacks preceding this one) 2. ignore Iran's repeated efforts at diplomacy. 3. ignore Iran's decades long restraint, not retaliating after repeated unprovoked attacks (downing of civilian flight, Israel's assassination of their scientists, assassination of Soleimani, assassination of Haniyyeh on their soil, and so on). 4. pretend the dozens of massive US military bases surrounding them in neighboring countries and use of their airspaces have nothing to do with the merciless aggression against Iran. 5. name Iran's retaliation and self defense as irrational aggression. 6. condemn Iran. 7. flip the script to make it seem like Iran is attacking its neighbors without provocation.

The GCC shut down their air space and the regional us bases to deter this war. They were literally sitting ducks to Iran’s retaliation because they refused to be party to this illegal war. Instead of Iran putting pressure on Israel like they did in the 12 day war Iran has played Israel’s hand in sowing regional chaos. The GCC is now bearing the brunt if Iranian attacks to a war they were trying to stop and Israel has the cover it needs to continue its assault on the West Bank and Lebanon. I’m really disappointed that even you Susan are giving Iran carte blanche to commit the same transgressions the US and Israel get away with.

No, it’s not astonishing. It’s a basic reality check. Why would any of these countries that are being attacked by Iran, whom have endured civilian loss of life as well as damage to infrastructure and are bearing the brunt of the Irani retaliation, while Israel is getting away with murder in the West Bank and in Lebanon. This war would’ve been over as quickly as last years 12 day war if Iran had focused on the aggressors, not the countries that were trying to deter the US from this war by closing their airspace and regional bases to these attacks.

It remains astonishing that all these countries still cannot not spare a single word of condemnation for the Zionist-American aggression against Iran and its people, including the murder of its leaders, nor do they call for a halt to the attacks on Iran or an end to the war.

Before Iran officially announced a school was bombed they already launched attacks on GCC countries and targeted military and civilian infrastructure right off the bat. The GCC didn’t even have time to condemn the attack before they were attacked, at that point what sense would it make to condemn the tragedy when they were at the receiving end of Iran’s response.

@higuain6767 @glcarlstrom Except the surprise aggression did not launch from the gulf countries. The fifth fleet was in the Indian Ocean. The Air Force was launching from Israel, flying over Iraq. The GCC had nothing to do with this or and did everything they could to try and deter the US.

Because it’s often getting lost in the discussion here, and because Economist columnists are brain dead retards, this is an exact timelines of events that led to this disaster of a war: - Feb. 27th: Iran negotiating in good faith - Feb. 28th: US/Israel launch a surprise aggression from gulf countries’ soil and kill 175 school girls Point is that, Yes. Iran attacked every base in the gulf in retaliation, but it came as a direct result of unprovoked aggression.

Because it's often getting lost in the discussion here, this is a partial list of Iran's attacks on energy *before* the Israeli strike on South Pars: - Ras Laffan LNG complex in Qatar - Ras Tanura oil refinery in Saudi - hundreds of drone attacks on Saudi oil fields - Ruwais refinery in Abu Dhabi - Shah gas field in Abu Dhabi - port of Fujairah - Bapco oil refinery in Bahrain The list goes on. Point is that, yes, South Pars was an escalation in American/Israeli targeting, but it comes after weeks of Iranian attacks on GCC energy infrastructure.

As Iranians send 90% of their missiles and drones to their GCC Muslim neighbours. Israelis have the free time to attack Lebanon and torture Palestinians in the West Bank instead of hiding in shelters. Pro-Iran accounts are coping with AI and 2025 videos.

Israeli settlers have increasingly used violence against Palestinians in a bid to drive them from their homes in the occupied West Bank. But sexual assault appears to be a new weapon in these settlers’ arsenal of intimidation, pointing to a troubling new level of violence. cnn.it/4du8vj6

You’re a fool if you really believe that. Last year the war between Israel and Iran lasted only 12 days because Iran focused on retaliating against Israel. This year they’re focusing on the region because they want a long drawn out regional war, which they seem to have signed up for with Israel in the US. The GCC states are the only ones who tried to prevent this war by not granting airspace and use of regional bases to the US and Israel’s attacks.

They were the only ones preventing the war from kicking off early, they said they wouldn’t allow America to use their airspace or the regional basis for this attack, that’s why the fifth fleet is in the Indian Ocean and they’re flying out of Israel to attack Iran. This war would have been over in a matter of days of Iran, focused on Israel.

The GCC that closed its airspace and forbade the US from using the regional bases to attack, they were the only countries putting up an actual deterrent for this war, but Israel forced America’s hand and it’s really telling that Iran is focusing on the GCC rather than. Last year, the 12 D war ended really quickly because Iran focused on Israel.

@hasnain0099 @4kuwaity @ReemRifai_ @nausheenyusuf Ramadan is over tonight, let’s see what will the GCC has to attack Iran. They certainly would not retaliate during the holy month, unlike the IRGC who attacked, lied about some of their attacks and murdered innocents in their neighboring countries.

There are more US interests in Israel than the GCC , and Israel itself is attacking Iran. The Gulf states prevented use of their bases and airspace for this war, it’s very telling that they are getting attacked more than Israel despite that. Last year’s 12 day war ended really quickly when Iran focused on Israel, it seems all three parties are in agreement that they would like a regional drawn out war …that’s the only scenario that makes sense for Iran to attack the GCC. Iran is also allowing cover for Israel to expand and attack Lebanon. You’d think that’s a top priority for them, to protect Hezbollah but they are instead focused on the GCC neighbors.

Mocking Gulf states for ‘not retaliating’ against Iran like they’re losing a game of Risk is embarrassing. These are real countries making serious calculations with real consequences. And spare me the ‘it’s only because of American bases’ reductionism. This is usually said by the same people whose entire lives are entangled in American economic and political infrastructure. This world is deeply interdependent. Pretending otherwise, and reducing complex geopolitics to clean identity camps, has never done anything but get people killed. Diplomacy is serious. Grow up.

@Yammoune777 @BenFRubinstein Ok here’s a history lesson, Bahrain has existed for over a Millennia, it used to encompass Qatar, the eastern seaboard of Saudi Arabia and the archipelago( known as Bahrain today), the Alkhalifa rule was established in Zubarah in 1766. So yes, older than the United States.

Iran’s aggression has now expanded to targeting Ras Laffan, a reckless and dangerous escalation into one of the world’s most critical energy hubs. When LNG facilities are brought into the line of fire, this is no longer just a regional conflict, it is a direct threat to global energy security.
