@teagoliveira Eu tive uma experiência muito parecida, tirei todos os sisos em Junho de 2010, pouco após o lançamento do RDR. Foram dias de muita dor e imersão no jogo, jogaço também!

Há 2 anos atras, por minha conta e risco, decidi tirar os 4 sisos de vez com um ortodontista que me recomendou não fazer isso, pois um deles estava inflamado. Assinei um termo e fizemos. Ele arrancou os 4 em 15 minutos. Um craque, mas acabou acertando um nervo e hoje tenho uma leve dor fantasma que aparece às vezes e durará pra sempre. Isso me levou a maior experiência que já tive com videogames: Red Dead Redemption 2. Foram dias de completa imersão e tomando dose máxima de remédios pra dor (que não passava). Quando zerei o jogo, no 15º dia, chorei. E não foi por causa dos dentes! Melhor que muito filme de drama hoje em dia. Uma semana depois escrevi “Minha Juventude Acabou”, música que abre meu segundo disco solo. É uma história sobre limões e limonadas 🍋‍🟩

@NepentheZ Disagree. Person A could maybe match in terms of getting a meta enough team to compete. But Person A would need years of UT experience to be able to do so w/o FP. As person B, I also don’t care as their team is likely regular rat crap, not cool evos and older promos.

Here's one of the biggest issues with UT. Person A begins UT Week 1. Person B begins UT Week 30. By week 31, they both have the same team. The same things. The same worth. How can a game just completely dis-regard time spent like that? I've never known it.

@ZattarRafael Se for pra viver só com os 10k líquido, dá, mas moderado nos pequenos luxos também. Pra ficar mais confortável bota uns 15k líquido. Se isso for salário bruto, esquece pq vai uns 3k embora em imposto, com 2 filhos 7k vai viver no aperto.

@ZattarRafael Provavelmente faria igual. Se recebeu essa oferta, deve ter mercado pra receber 1/3 no BR (se qser), provavelmente é melhor pra família. Se bobear sobra mais dinheiro. Fácil achar que 2m/ano é dinheiro infinito sem levar em consideração os custos de vida no exterior.

Ele recusou 2 milhões por ano como executivo de um banco fora do Brasil. Isso aqui não tem preço. O cara me acompanha, é assinante Z e recusou uma oferta de 2 milhões de salário por ano pra aproveitar o tempo. Hj tem o patrimônio de 10 milhões. Vc faria igual?

@levelsio As a Brazilian living abroad I can say you’re spot on! I’d say the nice stuff and places in Brazil are as good or better as the US standard of good, but the general picture is way worse! It truly bothers and saddens me how poorly taken care of the majority of public spaces are.

🇧🇷 Brazil is so beautiful But he's right, the streets here are often dirty, the building aren't painted or even cleaned regularly, most streets here just look derelict to me I think most Brazilians don't even notice this though, I def never hear them talk about it Once you've been to Asia and see how spotless clean many parts are, you really notice this and since Asia is so far away for Brazilians, many will never even realize this It's silly though because it's a really beautiful culture with a big focus on personal aesthetics, not so much the streets, infrastructure and buildings though I wanted to add a photo I took, not of an extremely derelict place, but just the average of what I see, a building that could use a nice paint job, some alignment on those walls and just general improvement of aesthetics Oddly (or not) Brazil has a big focus on interior design, unlike Europe for example, but nobody seems to give a shit about the exterior of buildings here Which could be a metaphor for the culture which often seems to care more about its own family and friends than society at large, but maybe that's too easy to say As the guy below says, maybe Brazilians just need some inspiration to start cleaning up the city 🧹

At 18, I moved from Detroit to intern with Disney. Every morning, as I drove to my job as a lifeguard at a waterpark, passing under this sign, and I'd think to myself “this is so cool!” Over time, I noticed other interns began to see our extraordinary experience as mundane, often complaining about daily stuff. I made a conscious effort to remember how great our situation was. Years later, those friends, even the ones who used to complain, still reminisce about it as one of the most amazing times of our lives. This is something I think about often. For me it’s a reminder: when you've accomplished something remarkable, created a life you're proud of, fallen in love, or achieved your career and financial goals, don't start seeing it as mundane. As you go about your day, passing your metaphorical "sign," remember to appreciate how cool it is!
