$1 MILLION in taxpayer money spent on crab feasts and football games. That’s what happened under Brandon Scott, the mayor of Baltimore. The money was spent on perks for him and his staffers. I was in town last weekend to visit my family. Baltimore's roads are shit. Potholes EVERYWHERE. Crosswalks and lane lines are faded on many streets. Broken bike lane stanchions all over the road, a reminder of the "road dieting" agenda that have shrunken travel space on city streets. The Inner Harbor is DESOLATE. Harborplace and the Gallery are nearly entirely cleared out (the Gallery BEEN gone), and YOU'RE about to hand over that entire downtown area to these white liberals, by way of giant residential luxury towers that will shut off the view from Pratt Street to everyone else. What progress has been made on the new Key Bridge, by chance? That's your jurisdiction. I get it. You're a good Democrat. You've worked hard to get where you are. I respect you immensely, and have since you were city councilman for Baltimore's 2nd district. But dawg, with ALL due respect, sit this out. El Salvador Restaurant was buzzing as folks rolled in to catch @potus ' SOTU, turning a regular night out into a full-on hangout. People grabbed seats wherever they could, shared plates of pupusas, and chimed in with reactions like they were watching a big game together. There was plenty of laughing, a little debating, and lots of side conversations sparked by what everyone was hearing. Between the good food, friendly crowd, and easygoing atmosphere, it felt less like a formal watch party and more like friends getting together for a fun night.
