@SharkBloxYT The low quality R6 textures thing has been for a long time. If you look at the UV mapping for R6 and how it takes 2D clothing and wraps it around your avatar is TERRIBLE.

I feel humiliated and alone. I feel like a killjoy and I feel unsafe to express my concerns and overall feelings.

Can I get some reassurance that simply being afraid/concerned about something and someone I care about's safety is ok and that I'm not ruining anyones fun and that I wasn't being laughed at by everyone in front of me for being worried about something.

@MaximumADHD I'm glad there is finally color3 for avatars, but roblox isn't making that as readily available as the 70+ colors we have right there in the body colors page. Also the new iPhone 17 Pro in blue is just ROBLOX black

I wanted to look into this more so I ripped the raw head geometry from a 2008 build of Roblox using data I pulled from RTX Remix and inspected. The end result? An attempt was made. There's an alternate universe where Roblox faces have big chins.

The reason Roblox characters have the face they do is because the procedural head mesh capsule Roblox generated at the time had squashed UV mapping, which vertically stretched the face texture.

It was David. He made the default face. The image was created on October 4th, 2005 at 11:11 AM PST using Paint .NET You can reproduce almost exactly how it was made in less than 30 seconds:
