해양대 졸업 후 3년 군복무 마지막 배에서 하선 후, 원양선 배타서 모은 돈으로 어머니 모시고 스위스, 이탈리아, 프랑스 2주 다녀온 적이 있었습니다... 당시 어머니랑 제 여행경비로 한 1200만원 정도 쓴 것 같아요. 어머니는 평생 해외여행 가본적이 없으셨습니다. 해외여행은 커녕 국내여행도 갈 형편이 안 됐었거든요. 대학 졸업 후 원양선 승선해서 돈 벌면 어머니 모시고 해외여행 가는게 제 목표 중 하나였습니다. 특히 어머니는 스위스가 가장 인상에 남았다고 지금도 말씀하십니다. 스위스 융프라우 정상에서 농심 신라면 컵라면 먹었던 것이 아직도 생생하네요! 당시 컵라면 하나에 약 1만원이였습니다. 이제 나이가 있으셔서 해외여행은 못 가겠다고 하시네요... 엑친분들, 기회가 있을 때 부모님 모시고 해외여행가세요- 나중에는 돈이 있어도...부모님께서 가실 수 없는 상황이 올지도 모릅니다.
