These NBA refs have made EXTREMELY horrendous no calls in this game. Cannot be any clearer the NBA wants this to extend to a game 6 for revenue grab. Wow.

I made a small adjustment across my three portfolios after checking the indicators I actually watch. Stocks still look expensive Bonds aren’t paying much for the risk right now, so I shifted a bit more into cash.

American consumers are now facing 7%+ mortgage rates, 4.2%+ inflation, and a 30% loss in the purchasing power of the US Dollar since 2020. Meanwhile, US CPI inflation continues to follow a similar trajectory as the late 1970s. Will history repeat itself?
The Kobeissi Letter@KobeissiLetter

BREAKING: May CPI inflation rises to 4.2%, the highest level since April 2023. Core CPI inflation also rises to 2.9%, the highest since September 2025. Inflation in the US is officially back above 4% and more than double the Fed's target. Odds of Fed rate hikes are rising.

The average Chick-fil-A does roughly $9 million in annual sales. The average McDonald's does around $4 million. Chick-fil-A is closed 52 days more per year than McDonald's and still generates millions more in revenue per location. Their drive-thru operation is not comparable to any other fast food franchise Many locations have employees outside taking orders on tablets, multiple drive-thru lanes, dedicated traffic directors, and can serve over 300 cars per hour during peak periods.
